When you say she treated you like ****, what exactly do you mean? Was she rude? Was she quiet or something? I remember I went on a date with a chick who I thought was being a total beeyatch, but actually she was just being shy. Once we got to know each other, she warmed up and she wasn't so b****y. But of course 2 months later I hated her guts because she was kind of a snotty girl that pretty much complained about everything. I think your initial thoughts about the date were probably wrong. You were all trying to impress her and sweep her off her feet. Maybe it is just my age, but nowadays if I am going on a first date I am trying to do as little as possible. I am trying to set it up so that I have time to get to know the girl and only if I thinking things aren't going to work out, do I plan something like an Astros game or something that I will enjoy and I won't have to pay much attention to her. I am becoming old and grumpy...

Forget that! take her out on a second date to the driving range.. assuming that you have some decent clubs.. putt putt is for little school girls... show her what you got on the driving range and flex that muscle. It's rather cheap too.. $10 will keep you for at least an hour, especially with a girl. The one I go to is on Richmond and the stoplight after dairy ashford (towards hwy 6)

You picked the single most boring event to ever attend in the world (unless you were sitting in the club) and you expected anything other than being treated badly? Shame on you, you should have taken her to a Spurs game or something, and I say Spurs cause my Rox aren't still playing otherwise, I personally think a Rockets game is a great place for a first date.
