Anyone starting the weekend early? I'm off Friday; making it a four day weekend and I can't wait!

    What are peoples’ plans?

yep, i'm taking tomorrow off. My oldest niece is valedictorian. Must see graduation tomorrow in Dallas. Then back to Houston Saturday for a very promising bday party that is also a must go. Then a choice of bbq's for Monday. might have yet another girl story to tell, when it is all said and done.

My best friend from college is turning 40 this weekend, and he and I and six of his co-worker friends are heading to Cabo for some offshore fishing and fun in the sun. They all work for Cisco--mostly in sales--so I'm gonna be the poor guy in the bunch. Hopefully, I don't get so intoxicated that I try to keep up with their spending habits.

Just drive up River Road on the Guadalupe and pick a campsite. We've stayed at Bezdek's the last few years, but after our experience there last weekend, I doubt we'll go back to that specific site.

Even so, I'd give anything to be able to go back this weekend. Or the next, or the next. Never a bad time.

Actually, you probably shouldn't just drive up there this weekend. I'd do a search for campsites on the Guadalupe and call to see if they have any spots.

I started really early. I took today off, and do not go back till Wednesday.

Yesterday was my 20th wedding anniversery, and my oldest son graduates on Saturday. Saturday night will be spent at Project Graduation party all night. Sunday I am BBQing for my son and his friends. Busy weekend.

    Brazos Bend State Park

I can't really speak for the quality of it but it looks nice and isn't too far away (it should be under an hour).

I'll be going to Washington DC to see the Dynamo play.

I am taking tomorrow off. After a strenuous couple of weeks for business, I am going to spend some quality time relaxing.

I am scheduled to work tomorrow...but seeing how my boss has not been here all week, I might have to "work from home" tomorrow. Depends on how I feel when I get up in the morning. Nothing for me to do here tomorrow anyway.

For the weekend, St. Arnold's has a Pub Crawl Friday night, and Saturday is UFC. I think the rest of my weekend will be spent watching baseball and basketball and drinking beer.

Wedding Saturday. Then work on Monday. I have a consultant who says that the only week that he is available is this one. I think he was trying to get out of a day of commitment. But he and I are both working Monday.

I caught the garter. My buddy (the groom) threw it right at me, nearly hit me in the face. How many years of freedom do I have left?
