After a Summer full of hope and full of dreams we have been brought down to earth like a jet speeding downwards ! it has been so long since we , rocket's fans, have had this kind of season . I can barely remember the early 80's strugles but it seems like that was about the last time we had this kind of bad luck . After this summer (getting Francis , Anderson and loosing Pip) the future looked pretty good since we still had both Hakeem and CB but we all know what happened to them. The season begins and what happens ??? we loose Hakeem , and just when we were starting to click CB goes out for the rest of the season and basically is gone as an NBA player (what a shame it ended like that!) Now we are facing all kinds of dificulties specially w/the big man in front , as good as Rogers has shown to be he is just not enough to be able to handle bigger guys. Rocket fans we have to hang in there , we are facing what the clip fans have been facing for what it seems for ever , Bull fans just as spoiled as we were are going through the same , so lets face it , we are going to be in for a very testing yr. as a rocket fan but the good thing about our team is that they just keep on fighting and just lack the experience and are probably a couple of players away from being real competitive ! despite of our no longer arguably "rebuilding state" we are pretty darn lucky to have a player such as Francis , it is as if something was indicating to just start thinking about the future and let go of the past, and that my friends is exactly what has happened !
