Bastid. Missed that last line. Been a long while. :)

... sad to see after 8 years you still haven't figured out how to post a poll, though. I mean really sad. :D

I work at at&t and its an ok job. The customers can be a bit much sometimes but its ok. The pay is good but it sucks that my boss doesn't understand the meaning of part time though.

It's always ranked among the best companies to work for, so you weren't alone in liking working there. :)

I'm pretty much enjoying my job right now.

I come in and test approx 100 best buy returned items and list them on ebay. You work pretty much nonstop so a 13 hour day goes by faster than you might expect.

3 days on and then 4 days off, plus all the overtime you can work if you need the extra scratch.

Few weeks ago I got what I thought was my dream job. Now I hate it, like most others I have had.
My favorite job ever was working at Half Price Books and if I didn't have 75 grand of debt via my law degree, I would probably go back to it.

I have been working in the same field since college - just working in various areas of the field. I relly like it- every day is different- there is neve a rut or routine. In planning projects I get to "Make " my job conditions at times.

I like helping people and developing new talent. I guess I like teaching.

I like starting new projects and finishing up the details of concluding ones.

I never liked laying people off during downturns........

I usually am placed with the most difficult clients because I do not have a combative attitude, do not get defensive, have patience, and can read drawings and understand specifications.

I like what I am doing and hope I can continue to do it for a long time. This is a healthy environment for me- I walk a lot and am very physically active and enjoy meeting people.

some of this is like sales-as far as client relations.

There are difficult people - but it is more than offset by the nice folks.

There is a very diverse culture in construction and I really enjoy learning from others.

Like many people there are days I love my job and there are days I hate it. I'm sorta neutral about it at the moment. I can't complain about the management since its only a two person business and both of us have equal say in the management and can't fire each other. It would also be nice to have more consistent work since for my work either I'm working 70+ hours a week or 2 hours a week.

I've considered off an on changing work and in the past few months have been thinking about going to Dubai for awhile since they are doing some of the most cutting edge architecture right now and it would be exciting to work on that. For the moment though I have recently started a new urban design project that should be pretty interesting.

On the side though I earn a little money playing in a band, not much more than beer money but its still nice to get paid for it, and some teaching self-defense so doing things like that keep me balanced instead of getting totally swallowed up by architecture.

That is healthy-mixing up activities. I have recently become interested in Photography - since reading here on the board about Jeff and others. My wife and I are doing this together-for fun. Working with the camera makes me more aware of potential composition of photo. It is fun seeing beauty in mundane things- light and form.

I like woodworking and would like to learn more- maybe take some time off from work some time and work as a helper for a cabietmaker to learn.

I guess I am interested in developing an artist's eye or at least expanding my perspective.

    Cool, which school?

I like my current job much better than my last one, but I can like working only so much. If I had my druthers, someone would pay me while I surfed the web and posted on cf.net all day-- oh, wait... I like my job. :)

Eh, I can't say I've liked any jobs since I graduated college, mostly grade on levels of annoyance.

My current job is ok but there are day it just drives me nuts, others are a little better.

I think every job has it's crappy aspects, but I've always wanted to work in a bookstore. Seems like it would be sort of peaceful.
