I like what he said about up-tempo style, you don't need a speedster to run up the floor but he wants to make the defense react to his style instead of bringing the ball up the floor and running a play. He said movement was more important than speed. Run the ball up the floor not the player. So he means that Yao needs to initiate the fast break with the outlet pass and passing the ball up court before the defense can setup.
