Just put an answer and a short explanation why you want who you want. Try to keep the discussion to a minimum so we don't get too off track from the original topic like we always do.

Either Acie Law or Josh McRoberts. Law likely won't be there when the Rockets pick but may drop because other PG's are on the rise like Javaris Crittenton and Gabe Pruitt. McRoberts didn't have a great year but he has a big upside and the Rockets need an athletic four. I also like Arron Afflalo because he is a good defender and an improving shooter.

    McRoberts.

He's got the explosiveness we need from the four. He can block shots from the weakside and hit the offensive glass. If we want to put some movement in our offense and still have Yao on the blocks, he's got enough offensive awareness and passing ability to hit cutters and give a good entry pass. He's just big enough to play between the 4 and 5 in today's NBA.

I forgot to mention, try to pick players that will actually be there at 26. McRoberts and Law will almost definitely be taken before the 26th pick with the lack of depth at PG and PF.

PG is more urgent need for Rockets, but I think the learning curve for PG is much steep... so it may not be realistic to expect Law to contribute right away. I don't know much about McRoberts, but if he really is atheletic as many said, he could have an immediate impact next season.

It depends. 2 of the most game-ready second year rookies are C.Paul and D.Williams.

I would like Rush but I think he won't be around at 26.Therefore my choice is Almond, he can shoot with good range,he gets to the line, makes free throws and plays within his limits. He isn't as athletic as some of the other players but I think he can be helpful to the team.

I like McRoberts and Law as well, with the slight edge going to Law as he has played really well in big games with the ball in his hands. Personally I think the Rockets will either try and move up to get somebody, or trade the pick for a more established NBA player. Head is the most likely to move in either scenario

    Herbet Hill 6-10 : 240

A PF with a good offense game and outstanding shotblocking and rebound skills. He should be available late first round. He has a lot of upside. Did I mention scouts consider him to have a very nice shoting stroke?

I'd like Gabe Pruitt because he's a big(6-4)point, Javaris Crittenton's a big(6-5) point from Georgia Tech(GT guards seem to do well in the NBA) or Morris Almond who shoots well enough to be our 3rd scorer.

the most likely option to be there is marco belinelli, who supposedly is a deadeye shooter. all the mocks have him falling around #26 and Ford's mock from this morning actually has us taking him.

if sean williams falls he is my #1 choice. he has the athleticism and help side defense that would compliment yao. his off-court issues have been pretty well documented, but at #26 he is a no brainer if still on the board.

I see either Byars or Almond falling to the early 2nd round in each of the drafts I have looked at, so I wouldn't be opposed to trading a player like Snyder or JL3 for rights to that pick. Head would be pushing it, but if that were the case then we would most likely be able to receive multiple 2nd rounders in return.

I think the best PF for us to pick up would be Jason Smith from Colorado State. I've seen him play. He played like a taller, big, Millsap who can score a bit more with more range.

Sadly I'm pretty sure he won't fall to us. If he did, he would fit perfectly.

Zounds, Jared Jordan sounds good. Could work on his shooting though. I have repeatedly brought up the idea of trading up for Acie Law. He's this year's Brandon Roy. Jarvis Crittenton could be good, too.
