I hope T-Mac doesn't say anything about the team not being fair. It will start a talk about T-Mac being unhappy with the organization that will last for the whole next season. From the conversation that was translated by our Chinese clutchfans brother, it seemed like Yao was disappointed with Gundy's decisions in the playoffs so I don't think he would be that disappointed.

YOU KNOW Rafer is depressed. He'll never log 40 points in a game for the Rockets again.

This is a translation by pryuen. Many in national media seems to partially attribute Yao's comments in this interview for JVG's firing...

Good question. I believe it is a good decision to steer clear of McGrady for about a month so that he calms down and can think of the decision rationally.

I just don't want T-mac to open his mouth yet again.

well mcgrady openly wanted van gundy back so i doubt we need his opinion on the matter. both guys are professional and i doubt either one causes problems with whoever the coach may be.

It seemed to me that Tmac was really just saying what he was supposed to at the time. He was never overly adamant about wanting JVG back and kept his comments very PC. At first he said that it wasn't up to him, but JVG was the best coach he's played for (which other successful coaches has he played for BTW?). Later he said he wanted JVG back, but IMO if he really wanted JVG back he would have made much more of a case for it than a single line answer like that. I don't think anyone on the team would have said anything negative about JVG when there was a good possibility that he would be returning as their coach.

Both of them are soft as we already knew. I am not sure that you could expect anything from them.

The other coach being Doc Rivers who is now milking a contract extension in Boston for tanking the season in the Oden/Durant sweepstake. :D

He had nothing decent of a coach to begin with so JVG is a huge upgrade for him and his best coach yet.
