It doesn't make sense to pick a old retread coach and pair him with a young GM. Adelman will be around for up to 4 years and at that time he will be 64 freaking years old and we'll be on the search again. It makes perfect sense cause most coaches these days don't last more than 4 years anyways. The days of a sloan/popovich coaching run are long over.
Actually it makes perfect sense, a veteran head coach with a young and upcoming assistant who will be ready to take over the reins in about 4 years. Why is this board always so d*** pessimistic.
