    I'm all for that. I've ripped Tracy over his shot selection for some time. But no free rides for Yao and Adelman either. Or Les.

    JVG was a very good defensive coach. I wish him well. Now maybe this team can probably keep their upcoming free agents for more than one year and develop some of their youth as well.

    We will miss the playoffs next year! This is a horrible move by the Rockets, we win games by our DEFENSE.

    I think if Adelman is our new coach, he will unleash the hidden offensive potential each player on the roster has. JVG was holding us back offensively.

    Yeah you're probably right, I can't wait for the Adelman / McGrady feuds... after Adelman calls out TMac we probably will roll to the finals... :rolleyes:

    I would rather have Van Gundy, too, but Adelman is very good coach.

    Assuming Adelman is indeed the next coach it isn't the worst decision. At the same time I don't think it really changes how close we are to contending what so ever. The roster still matters alot more than which coach that has never won a title is leading the team.

    Let's face it, Adelman couldn't win it all with teams that are significantly more talented than any JVG has coached, including the current Rockets.
