im sad to see JVG leave cause i liked him as a person, but i understand the decision. looking back at the kings teams that competed with the lakers 6ish years ago, im pretty excited to see what adleman will do with the team.

Defense isn't something you just retain. It requires continual focus. And how you play on offense will also impact your defense. It's hard to predict what our defense will be like without knowing who's going to be playing, but it will probably be significantly worse. Hopefully the offense improves enough to make up for it.

Almost any player in the NBA can adopt Adelman's scheme. Not everyone in the NBA can adopt JVG's scheme. It will be a lot easier to find players like this instead looking for a Van Gundy guy. They just don't exist anymore.

Semi Sad news, Van Gundy has instilled importance of defense in these players. Sadly, no matter how good of a coach you are, the players need something more than just a defensive scheme. BRING ON ADELMAN!!!!

I am really curious what Adelman will think about our Alston and our PFs and what moves he would like us to make.

In The Clutch City video Adleman is seen telling his Blazers team that they better than the Rockets. He sounds like a genius.

This team is no better under Adelman than JVG. Coaching was never the problem.

It was the talent-level at the 1, 2, and 4.

But eveyone looks for a scapegoat to failure - and no one wants to admit that the problem runs far deeper. Since we can't really change the personel, we'll change the coach.

Fans will get excited. Season tickets will sell. But the result will be the same.

If anything - hiring Adelman will like delay and positive change happening.
