So every signs and indications that Jeff Van Gundy will be leaving Houston Rockets?

Tom Thibodeau is set for an interview with Sacramento Kings for a coaching job......

Good luck Tom, and thanks for the great job you have done, working with Yao Ming day in and day out for the past 3 seasons.......

GM's and assistant coaches constantly interview for head coaching jobs. it doesn't really mean that much.

But Tom Thibodeau is different. As Yao Ming pointed it out in his interview with Wang Meng, Thibodeau is a key person in JVG's coaching staff. If JVG's job at the Houston Rockets is as stable as a rock, there maybe no need for Thibodeau to start looking for a job, even though as Yao Ming said Thibodeau always aspires to become a head coach.

jvg has always pushed for thibodeau to get a head coaching job. this doesn't mean much as far as jvg coaching the rockets.

Good for the Kings! Thibodeau's a better coach than Adelman, too. (I'm trying to warm myself to Adelman, I really am.)

I hope Tom isn't like Jeff, that would be pretty disappointing!

I think there were some observations of him posted here when he was given the reigns to the summer league team.

if Les gets rid of JVG Thib will be gone too....I don't think they want a trace left of the JVG era.....
plus adelman willbring in his own assitantsn...at least they won't be ex knicks..
that being said, I would like JVG to return if him and les can work things out...if the rift continues, its bette that both parties move on...

Yeh he was a great high school coach. Even broke a gender barrier by having a girl on his team.
