    1) no homoerotic..meaning using an insult off the insinuation that the target enjoys homosexual experiences.

    2) of course not, but Sam is a guy as far as I know :p

    3) This is the first Greek joke I've posted in here I think.

What goes around comes around ;)
As for that fisher guy he started throwing bulls*** like '' platonic arts "' and "greek man love " towards DD who after all was just making a point so what i stated in post n.1 that name calling is where it's at is proven true once more. The fact that JVG did the same thing to 6 different players no VG lover cares about , spanoulis is the problem, i bet some wish he fails next year so that VG is proven right, even if that in noway helps the Rockets

This is prolly the reason i got back to being a rookie so for the record i just wanna say i was just making a joke about JVG being bald and sam fisher showing such a devotion to him, but i thought it was obvious i was being sarcastic, anyways no problem , i just had to say that, hell i don't even know who sam fisher is , maybe it wasn't the best joke ever , there i'll give you that :D

No, it did not get the Warriors past the Jazz but it did get the Warriors to the 2nd round and past the defending Western Conferenct Champions...who BTW had one of the most dominate regular seasons ever and was the odds on favorite to win the NBA Championship.

Where was VanGundy Ball while the Warriors were playing the Jazz? Was it at home on the couch watching basketball instead of playing?

What is the difference between the Rockets and the Warriors? Oh wait this one is not tough.

The Rockets were upset by a lessor team when they not only had home court advantage but owned a 2-0 lead going into the 3rd game.

Instead of being upset...the Warriors were the 8th seed and upset the number 1 seed when they did not have home court advantage.

Nice try on your part...oh wait no terrible try since you failed to factor in the fact that the Warriors were a letit 2nd round team while the Rockets were not. Give me Nelly Ball over Van Gundy Ball any day.

crash, no offense dude, but the Jazz are not a "lessor" team (unless they are renting out to other teams). They are a damn good team - as much as I hate them. We are not. Vspan, Adelman, Peter Petrelli, The Greatest American Hero... none of them would have saved us.

    Our bench is teh suck.

And Vspan playing 20 minutes a game wouldn't have us in the WCF's...

    Get over it already VOF's.

If your loyalty is to Vspan moreso than the Rockets, then go f yourselves, one and all.

And I say this out of sheer frustration.

I am Greek, and I know plenty of other Greek-Houstonians who are happy we failed because to them it proves that the Rockets were wrong and Vspan was "right."

    To me that is sick.

VOF's & bandwagon fans... One and all.

Old Man Rock - as you are somebody who rooted against the Rockets the last few years you should be able to sympathize with those greek Spanoulis fans. I'm shocked that you haven't shown more understanding.

Rockets are greater than V-Span and JVG.

But if the failure gets rid of JVG and the Rockets get better because of it, regardless of whether V-span plays or not, then it is clearly a silver lining.

I have no loyalty to JVG and I have none to Vspan, despite being Greek.

I would love both to succeed with the Rockets, and my opinion is that JVG is the best coach out there for us right now. My opinion is also that whether or not JVG played a rookie and a couple of other bench scrubs a few more minutes, the Jazz outclassed us.

Tossing in Adelman to appease Les and some VOF's won't do crap - a less defensive oriented coach with this same bench = first round exit.

Just tired of thread after thread of how much JVG sucks and Vspan rules when neither deserves the venom or accolades accorded to each of them, respectively, on this board.

And Old Man Rock, you have no frame of reference when it comes to dealing with the VOF's. As a Greek Houstonian, I run into the VOF's daily. They wouldn't care if we resurrected Red Auerbach, and brought in Phil Jackson and Pat Riley as assistant coaches - if Vspan didn't make the All-Star team, these people would still claim that he was poorly coached, misused, and misunderstood. Their loyalty, like many of the Greek posters -cough- Gallis -cough- who came out of the woodwork a few months ago(akin to the Chinese YOF's appearance a few years ago) is to the player, not the team.

If Vspan was a Knick, I guarantee you that a ton of Greek Houstonians in the community and on this board wouldn't give two ****s about the Rockets or who their coach was.

Well JVG had the same result so it wont hurt to try something new. The worst thing that could happen is another first round exit but a more exciting rockets team to watch. I dont have a problem with that.

I'm Irish, Dutch, and German and I want to see VSpan play. I have a friend that is half mexican half Haitian and he wants to see Spanoulis too. My dog is a Heinz 57 and I've convinced him that VSpan would be better than what we had this year too. My cat just had kittens, she is Siamese and they are half Siamese half Persian and they like VSpan too.

I have a lop rabbit...............he says VSpan too.

    Even my gerbil..........

Hey, I pulled out some sardines the other day and one of them jumped out of the can and said VSpan
