I think kmart could be had for very cheap this offseason. I would take a chance on him. He can finish, is athletic, can rebound, and has an attitude. But hes gotta be healthy

First of all, K-Mart could never rebound worth a damn. Secondly, he's washed up. He hasn't produced since he was with the Nets (and I'd argue that he hasn't produced since Jason Kidd was no longer his point guard). Third, how exactly do you mean he can be had for cheap? He's still on a max contract so even if they're willing to trade him for junk we have to throw a WHOLE lot of junk their way. The only way to make the contracts match would be to include several rotation players - so we then lose a few rotation guys for one washed up, oft-injured power forward who isn't even a has been because he really never was? No thanks. The whole reason we lack depth is because we've been packaging two and three players for one player for years now - I'd say ever since Eddie Griffin - and it's steadily killed our depth. But if we are going to trade three or four of our guys for one guy, can he at least be a durable player who has played up to his contract sometime in the last three or four years?

As for Chris Webber - no thanks on him either. It's great to see him playing well in Detroit again but I'd just assume see him finish his career in his hometown.

Still willing to give K-Mart a shot?

K-Mart No way. I really would go after Hakim Warwick, Lawrence Roberts cheap free agent who can play maybe even Paul Millsap worth our first rounder at least a strong maybe.

MIKKI MOORE - Playing well in this postseason.

K-MART - Injury prone, but used to be a beast on the boards.

PJ BROWN - A vet, if all else fails.

Is Chris Anderson supposed to come back this season?

I wouldn't mind giving the "Birdman" a look.

Ike Diogu may be very attainable at this time. We are not going to get a great PF or PG in the draft, although I would trade for Sean Williams if drafted in the second round or late first round as currently projected. I think we can find better SG and SF which makes Kirk Snyder tradeable. We will need to sign or trade for our positions of weakness.

Yeah, I'd be down for the Birdman. I think he's out for one more season though. Joe Smith will be a free agent this year. He's far from ideal but maybe someone to consider.

Attainable is former Dukie Sheldon Williams. He was rookie of the month in April. Comes with about a 2 mil pricetag.

    Shelden Williams, Atlanta Hawks
Apr. 6 vs. Milwaukee: Scored 12 points and grabbed 16 rebounds along with three steals in the 115-102 win over the Bucks.
Apr. 13 vs. Washington: Tallied 14 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals in the 85-98 loss to the Wizards.
Apr. 16 @ Milwaukee: Registered 16 points, 17 rebounds and three assists in the 102-96 loss to the Bucks.
Apr. 17 vs. Indiana: Recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds in the 118-102 win over the Pacers.

    Please be realistic people.

Utah will not trade Milsap for anybody on our roster.

David Lee is the most untoucheable player on the whole of the knicks.

Sheldon Williams likewise is untoucheable, why would Atlanta give up on him so soon?

Ike Diogu is the whole reason why Indiana took on the dunmurphy sisters bad contracts, so they can find out how good Diogu is, he is more untoucheable than JO right now.

Milwaukee gave up tj ford for charlie v, they are not trading charlie v until he proves to be a bust.

be realistic people, no one is giving up good players for crap. The only realistic gets, are the players who are risks, either injury risks like KMART, or character risks like artest.

Think about it, why would any team give up perfectly healthy productive players for crap?

This might be more possible than we think with the rumors of Jermaine O'Neal wanting to be in New York with Isaiah Thomas.

If JO goes to NY, david Lee will be the centerpiece of the deal, not a surplus player left over after the deal.

David Lee wouldn't be a good fit. He has persistent leg injuries, ie he'll be in and out of the lineup. Rockets can't deal with that.

Ryan Gomes is possibly going to be redundant in Boston after the draft if the Celtics miss out on Oden.
