How about JVG as a color analyst?

    I wonder if he'd be open to that. If he doesn't return as coach and the "break up" is amicable, then maybe he'd be willing to stay with the Rockets as a color analyst. I've heard that he doesn't want to leave Houston, and he seems like the kind of guy who'd want to be around basketball even if he isn't coaching. He'd certainly be leagues better than Drexler or Bullard.

    What do you think?

    Let's see, 1/10 of the money to stay in H-Town, or 10x the money and work for TNT. Yeah I think he'd stay.

    I like him as a commentator. He was great on TNT. Him and Fratello were funny together.

    Yeah... TNT is going to offer way too much money... so we gotta deal with more of Clyde Drexler and Matt Bullard (who are actually not terrible compared to some of the other local analysts.)

    Hell no if any of the Rocket's morale is adversely affected knowing his disgraced former coach is color-commenting the game.

    i think if someone was to change jvg it is Calvin Murphy, imagine JVG in an orange suit after a month on the job :cool:

    van gundy is an awesome analyst but he would never be one here.
