Nothing to do with the game, but why is it ok for pitchers in baseball to shower during the game? In other sports, players are chastised if they leave the bench or game early. Why can't the starting pitcher watch his team play to the end and then shower?

in other sports players are allowed to come back into the game. once you pull a pitcher, he's done.

yeah like madmax said. but in baseball once any player is taken out of the game they cant go back in.
most starting pitchers when taken out go to the clubhouse to ice their arm and watch the game on the TV in the clubhouse.

And a lot of reserves will leave the bench in the middle innings & go down in the batting cages & hop on an exercise bike in the clubhouse to warm up.

Grats on the gig. I've said it before, and that is that more times than not I agree with your takes on the Astros.

I'm looking forward to reading your future stuff.
