[ESPN] Dirk Nowitzki to be named MVP

WOW NBA actually had the balls to hand out the trophy to the Chokemeister

Thought they would would just Fedex the thing over with a note reminding him "Do not bother to attend the press conference, we have been shamed already"

 

Did anyone watch any of the ceremony? Cuban cried as he went on about what a great person he thinks Dirk is. I think Cuban wants in Dirk's pants...

 

Congrats Dirk! Well-deserved (for the regular season...).

I can see a dozen other willing to chip in to put a contract hit on Dirk's head.

Good, I wasn't the only one who thought that.

I for one agree with the earlier posters and all others who say that the NBA MVP award should work more like the MLB MVP award. It should go to the best player. I'm tired of all of this "best player on the best team" junk.
