[Positive Thinking Only] What do you like about your Rockets?

I love this team.
They work hard.
They hustle.
They do all the little things.
They play good basketball.
They are good guys.

If I were a player, I'd want to play on a team like the Rockets, and if I were a coach, I'd want to coach a team like the Rockets.

 

I love that the Rockets are about to fire Jeff Van Grumpy.

 

I like the fact that they are good guys and get along. I like the fact that both Yao and Tmac are recovered from their physical problems, though Yao appears to have a ways to go. I like Chuck's hustle. The uniforms are good. I like the color red. Is this enough? Is it time to sing "We are the Rainbow?"

 

The fact that I don't ever see any rockets in the new or on the web "making it rain" at a strip joint.

Everything but Gundy and the fans. Well, I don't hate the fans, I just wish we had more of a concentrated base in Houston. It seems like we have no home court advantage, and the numbers suggest much the same.

The classiness and oncourt skills of Yao Ming.

Given better supporting role players, the potential of a healthy Tracy McGrady.

The veteran presence of Dikembe Mutombo and (discounting the sunglasses incident) Juwan Howard.


Other than VG's departure, if it's not specifically mentioned above, I'm not "positive" about it.

 

i love the team..love the guys...good personalities....love the crowd....we will be back better than ever next year...

 

I was going to say the same thing. Unfortunately that's all I love about the team right now. I still have hope for V-Span and Novak and like Les and Lindsey, and keeping an open mind about Morey.

That's all I got...

 

I love that I can come into Clutchfans and complain about the team.

 

I love that we have three cogs in the chain and only need another one or two. I love that we have the MLE, a desirable team, a draft pick and contrary to what many believe, some assets handy for a trade.

I love Yao.
I love Tracy.
I love Battier.

I love Van Gundy but am open to options.

I love the players that are possible with the MLE.

I love this years draft.

I love that dumbass Dawson is no longer the G.M.

I love that a player who is overrated and can't get off the bench thinks that he can call the shots for a 52 win team.

I love that fans who've rarely seen him play actually side with him.

I love that we have fans so passionate they can't help but overreact.

I love that we have coaches lined up hoping they can get a chance at this team.

I love that Dallas got their asses kicked out of the playoffs before we did.

--- that Chuck didn't end up stuck on a crap team (like poor Rajon in Boston) with a crappy coach (say like Mike Woodson) or crappy superstars (thank GOD I don't have to root for Kobe's team) and that I can still hope he stays in Houston.

--- that the entire roster seems like they are good people off the court. Even Bonzi, the knucklehead, appeared to be a good person, though unmotivated.

--- the 12 days of Christmas video that they did for the Holiday pack. Even now I can watch it and giggle a bit.

--- that through the adversity of the regular season they stuck together and didn't completely fall apart.

I LOVE the guys on our team. Every single one of them. That's why it hurts so much to see them lose, especially after all they've been through the last few years.

 

They're my team. That's all I need to know. I don't like them, I love them. It's morphed into my genetic code. I am a Rockets fan.

We need a new point guard.

I am POSITIVE that JVG leaving will make the Rockets a lot better.

What do i think about the Rockets? I think they have a dominate center on there hands. but also have a coward like Tracy McSoftie on there team.

as long as T-Mac talks and talks this Rockets team will not taste a championship.

 

I like that they play a traditional, halfcourt game. While Phoenix and Golden State are fun to watch, the Rockets ARE NEITHER PHOENIX NOR GOLDEN STATE. WE HAVE NEITHER STEVE NASH NOR BARON DAVIS.

 

TEAM CHEMISTRY!

This team got team chemistry more than any other team ive seen. They stand up half the time when on the bench and know their roles and more then anything, accept their role. The only player that probably isnt too happy is VSpan. I also like the setup that we have 2 superstars in Tmac and Yao. Yao is a great center and Tmac is my favorite player. Houston actually became my fav. team when Tmac was traded. With more depth and possibily a new coach, I think this team can go all the way.
