Too bad Kevin Harlon wasn't there to spice it up with a badass metaphor. Seriously, half of the greatness of T-Mac's dunk was his and Doug Collins's vocal expression to it.
Glad to see Baron act like he has been there before, o wait he acted like a dumb a## along with the rest of his team.
Amazing. This guy has officially hit his prime while younger guys like Tmac have "lost a step." Makes you think.
Actually being an optimist, I'm hoping that T-mac grows up and realises greatness is about attacking the basket like a force of nature and not settling for weak jumpshots when the game is on the line.
How many guys have been "there" before. If you dunk on one of the best shotblockers in a long time like that, in the playoffs, you can do whatever the hell you want afterwards. Its not like he got in the guys face or anything.
whatever man, the dude just posterized one of the best shot-blockers in the NBA. i'd be just a little pumped up too. i'd watch the warriors any day over any team but the rockets.
Give cannonball a break. I'm sure he knows exactly how it feels to do what Baron did, and exactly how he himself would have reacted with 22,000 rabid fans going nuts for him in the team's most important playoff game in about 20 years. Not to mention it was being broadcast on the most popular sports network in the world. After all, I'm sure he's been there before. Isn't that right, cannonball?
yeah, in sports, basically the entire point of playing the game is to dominate your opponent, prove that he is weak, and prove that you are the physically superior human being. I'll never understand, in pro sports, the need for people to act subdued.
I must say I agree. Beyond high school level sports anyway, because by then you shouldn't be playing if you haven't learned to take the heat.
Yeah Canon... I dont get it. This is sports! If I did that in a game in that scenario after getting beat down on the road, coming home and slaughtering the opposition in front of my home crowd and letting it all culminate in a gigandous dunk in the teams best shot blocker (I meant for that to be a run on) then I would do the same. If not eat the basketball, run across the court to the Jazz goal, and pee on it like a dog marking my territory. They are men, they are athletes, they have passion, the have emotions. Its beautiful.
