    Um, no. Duncan is better than Yao on both sides of the ball. Yao's only advantage over Timmy is free-throw shooting.

    Amare doesnt deserve to be first team. This is a joke. His game rely on PnR with Nash. Look at his FT % without Nash? maybe 40% at most?

    But this is american sports. Media just love him more than YAO

    yao is a better player than amare when he's healthy but he missed 30+ games this year. second team seems about right.

    amare doesn't deserve it. what they should have done is move duncan to C and lebron up to F. that's better. amare on 2nd team w/ yao

    What's the qualification for the selection? Didn't Yao miss more than 1/3 of the games? He is not even qualified for STATISTICAL MINIMUMS for league leaders in scoring and rebounding.

    I remember there was an out crying when Shaq was voted in last season after missing quite a few games. They need to set up some rules for qualification. If a player is qualified, they should be considered equally. So, I think Yao should either be voted 1st team, or disqualified due to the # of missed games.

    yeah that's a better lineup, but my basic point was that it's not a big deal that yao didn't make first team. it really doesn't matter to me where amare fits in.

    If Houston moved to the eastern conference, the first team would be the western conference starting five all-stars and the second team would be the eastern-conference starting all-stars.

    Amare on 1st team - unjustified. Is it just a makeup move that they won't even consider Yao for whatever excuses they come up with?
