iirc, the only snakes that can squeeze you to death are the constrictors, and I dont believe cobras are constrictors. The depend on their venom paralyzing their victim and then swallowing it as it dies. a comstrictor doesnt normally have venom so it has to squeeze its prey to immobilize it so they can eat it.
