WangMeng once made up a report from a youtube video (T-Mac training at home). It was a fake story and I think a lot of ppl here remember that. WangMeng got himselft a bad reputation as a reporter.
I was asking what proof rayman77 has with his specific accusation that Wang Meng made up this interview of Yao. Rayman77 apparently cannot back it up. Let's see what you've got, shall we?

Ask any other posters/readers who can read and understand Chinese..... which part of the article that I made up or sensationalize? I gave my best effort in my translation for almost 3 hours on that very long article......and I don't think I deserve to be accused of this.
First of all, Wang Meng as a reporter has no any credit. Did you know he fabricated TMAC's inerview? That was really a nice article, but it was fake. The vedio is still available on Youtube. Do some homework or go to University of Goolge please, you can find tons of trash from Wang Meng like interview of CD, interview of TMAC, interview of JVG...... Second, the very first sentence of the report explicitly says Yao was driving ALONE(姚明一个人驾着车), is this possible? LOL. No credibility at all. bbs.hoopchina.com, cluch bbs of a lot of Chinese Rockets fans. Wang made him no reputation there. Wang is just a small potato....Nobody wants to hate him if he didn't make so many fake details.

Well Luther Head is definitely going to Shanghai this summer (beginning of July) as one of the coaches for the Basketball Without Borders Asia (July 5 ~ 8). Point them out, I dare you. Stop making false accusation and run away. Don't be a coward, Tell us which part of the translation Pryuen has sensationailized. I have seen you made the same accusation before. Wang Meng may not be trustable, but I can guarantee that Pryuen does not make up any stuff in his translation. You are pathetic, hating someone who contributes a lot to this site.
That Yao was driving alone is a bummer. However, it has little effect on the rest of the interview, which is what this report is all about. Most of us could care less where the interview took place, the timing and content of the interview are what we are interested in. Here's another example. The box scores shown on many sports websites still list Yao as "Ming", which we all know is incorrect. Shall we then dismiss them outright just because of this one (persistent) mistake?
