Damn I was really looking forward to watching the game at work today ... Hope they can actually make a game out of this but starting out in a 4-0 hole is not the way to do it. :( Hopefully the offense will start clicking in the 2nd inning.

I just realized that the Reds play the theme song for "Soul-Glo" (coming to america) when Griffey comes to the batters box.

    WTF!?!

(the guy can still flat-out rake... if he was in a big market, the media would still be all over his jock)

it blows being down 6-0, but there's no doubting griffey has one of the sweetest swings in all of baseball by FAR.

That's why he's a major league ballplayer (at least for another day) and you're a nameless internet jackoff. Because *he* sucks. :D

He threw 7 1/3 scoreless innings against the World Series Champions on Saturday.

Oh well, how often do you see a team sweep a 4 game series. I'll take 3-1 trip to Cinci any time.

I told myself I would stop watching unless he hit a homerun there. Time for a beer.

Right now, he only has one decent pitch... that 90+ mph sinker... which he has trouble throwing for strikes.

Everything else he throws is pretty hittable.

I believe the Reds have observed this as well. Maybe it's time for Moehler to get some work. How much longer is Phil going to allow Albers to get abused?
