The NBA needs to get a better deal with Europe or they will find themselves competing for those players or more of them willing to stay over in Europe. They should do a deal where players can have NBA contracts and still play in Europe. DD

He is going to command Jasikevicius-type money ($4 million in 2007)" was.... Papaloukas is currently at 2.5 million euros a year (including his bonuses) (3.37 million dollars) ... Due to the tax, a US team would have to offer him a 5.2 million dollar/year deal for him to get at least the same amount of money
