I think he could probably still field... but now since he's no longer "the man" in CF, he doesn't care.

Also, if he were "the man" in CF, he'd likely get hurt... which is why the reds moved him out of there.

    Since the blowup in Milwaukee:

    10 G, 10.1 IP, 8 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 15 K

Now has the virtually exact same ERA as Qualls & Wheeler.

Yep... the good slider is being thrown more often... the mechanics are coming around (and with confidence, the mental side will start healing).

Lets hope Wheeler can stop his giving up a HR per inning pace in Cincinatti.

Woody has been pitching much better recently. I was kinda surprised they sent Wheeler out there a 3rd straight day, but he got the job done. Nice little start to a streak- let's see if the stros can break out the brooms tomorrow!

No doubt. Last 4 starts have been very good: 25.2 IP, 3.85 ERA

We'd be much better off if we had released him and called up Nieve...

Yeah....and then have to call him back up because of Nieve's Tommy John....

Except we couldn't have sent him down since he's a vet, so we would have released him. We'd have to call up some new scrub.

    M. Lamb 3B
    C. Burke 2B

    Albers P

One of the ugliest defensive alignments you'll ever see in MLB Ol' Matty better have the K's & popups going today.

Offensively, that's a pretty solid lineup. Defensively... it'll be interesting. ;)

The count is at 1... Adam would have made that play.

Now, it will likely lead to a run.

The Reds own Matty... doesn't matter who is playing SS now.
