I started a three year contract at Ballys about 2 months ago. I signed up with a friend. Its a good deal 52 a month for both. But then another friend convinced me to sign some friends on my account so that they wont have to pay enrollment fee.

I was skeptical because I know people always think of the gym as something that will completely change their life and get all excited but in the end just quit.

Sure enough thats what happened. I signed up four people with me. One of the was my friends mom (im an idiot) and she completely wants to get out but im still making my friend pay me for that and in the end the 3 people i signed up after all wanted to get out. Which just pissed me off. Two of them decided to stay.

Anyway I want to know if I can modify my contract or if thats not an option I want cancel it and just start a new one alone. Does anyone know how I should go about this?

Should I just call the company? Because when I go and ask the people working there tell me that I can do nothing about it. But there has to be a way to get out of this contract.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Bally's is full of horses*it..

I had a similar 3 year contract deal and they're getting credit agencies involved.. I'll write more about this later.

By the way, don't bother calling them, they won't help you.. These people just want your money and won't even try to work it out with you..

The best way is to stay away from Bally's all together. Don't sign any paper that says BALLY'S. Thats my advice.

Dammit I knew it! I dont have a problem with the inicial decision I made about signing up me and my friend, everything would be perfect if I hadnt been convinced to add those other 3 people.

so you're on the hook for about $250/month? that sux. never make a deal with people unless they can give you the money up front.

Acutally it wasnt that bad. $26 a person for $130.00 a month. I know it was a stupid decision. I will make them pay. Its actually a 2 year contract because, according to the contract i will get the third year for free.

it's gonna be hard to have those people pony up. they know it's not their credit that's gonna be screwed up and they'll come up with any excuse to rationalize why they shouldnt' have to pay. good luck.

    Thanks.

It sure is going to be hard. Theyre long life friends but I still hate to collect. Well is barely month two, its just stressing cuz i like the gym but i dont like to be worrying about that stuff. So far their paying even tho theyre not going much but how long will it last. I just wish i had more control over my account in terms of modifying it.
