Why was Utah allowed to wear their alternate baby blue road uniforms in game 7? I thought there was a rule that said the visiting team must wear the same uniform for any one series. I ask this because the Nets wore their red uniforms against the Raptors in game one of their first round series. After that I heard they had to wear the red uniforms for the rest of the away games of the series. I tried to search the Internet for the answer but couldn't find anything. Hoping someone knowledgable here will have the answer. Thanks
I hate those black jerseys. If you don't like Rockets red, you're not a Rockets fan. Wearing a black jersey is akin to wearing a pink jersey.
this is probably close to what you guys are thinking http://www.clutchfans.net/image.cfm?img_type=wallpaper&image=2006_impossible_1600.jpg
I actually thought we should have pulled a Notre Dame at halftime and came out in the throwback red and golds. That would have been sweet.
Not sure what if any rule is in existence; if so then it's relatively new. The Nets wore their 70s throwbacks in Game 5 of the '03 Finals. No idea how they were able to pull that off. The League had to have approached the team about that. Houston needs to pull a Mavs/Wiz/Kings and bring in a completely different alternative. Update the classic ones a bit; have a solid red with houston written in bold letters; none of this current font, none of that dazzle crap.
damn straight...we should have busted out the old school hakeem red jerseys and went bash brothers on some jazz aaaasssss
