Yes, but if Steve gets bought out and we re-sign him, it's a double yes. :D

!. Remind Stevie of how his career went when he left houston.

    2. Let him work with John Lucas Sr. this summer to be a passing point guard.

steve's atheletic ability would surely help this team...honestly...with him instead of alston, we would've beat UTAH.

True, but with any coach besides Gundy we would have beaten Utah. I think the game came down to critical stops and set plays, totally the area of the coach.

    Mario and Steve.

Rudy does not need the stress. NOt that he showed it minute by minute like JVG.

I felt if JVG had kept Deke in for the remaining 3mins of the 3rd qtr Rockets could've been up at the start of the 4th qtr. Rockets could've been running away with the lead instead of fighting for it then eventually losing it.

I think he does want to. He hinted at it when he was injured with the Knicks this season. As long as he can coexist with McGrady, we're fine. If he doesn't, I think he'll still behave himself and come off the bench.

And to the comments earlier about BD vs. SF . . . SF used to school Davis game in game out when he was with us. But that was years ago and one major injury away, so I doubt SF could do it again. Still, if he can do 80% of what BD does, we'll be in good shape.

Looking at the stats, they're pretty close, BD averages one more assist, one less turnover, and 1.5 less rebound per game than SF. But SF has higher FG, FT and 3PT precentages across the board.

I can't believe I am going to say this, but I really miss stevie :( We all knew he had heart. He might have been a bonehead bball player at times, but he played his heart out.

Obviously you never saw Francis play with the Rockets and take them to the playoffs.

Stevie knows he can help this team. All he needs to do is punch Isaiah Thomas in the face, and he'll be back before we know it.

wow, lot of yall forget one of the reason we lost is becasue we have no fierceness, someone like bobby. but hes gone. tracy is emotional, yao is just yao. battier, mutombo, and juawn are class act but not a leader on the court. sure juan might be leader off the court but not on the court. hayes was a leader in college, but right now, he can't do much but hustle. and hes not a guard. we need a guard to be a leader. luther and snyder are not leaders. their just role players. steve francis could be that leader. maybe he won't. both rafer and steve played out of their minds with the rockets. rafer is just not a leader. steve could be. steve shows his emotion when hes happy or unhappy. thats what a leader is. i might take him for almost the mle. i don't know. i realy don't know how much he wants. hopefully he takes the lle. or even the exception we get from bob sura for the injury thing. then we could use the mle on a pf.

i don't think mutombo is back. i think hes going to start his "other career". i actualy think we could trade battier with howard and lucas/vspan for draft picks and a legit pf. use part of our mle on steve and a sg.the thing with battier, he won't let us use tracy as a sf. why? tracy is better at the sf, less energy on defensive. and battier can't play crap at pf. i say we should try to get rashard lewis and draft picks for this year or two future draft picks. seatle, needs a leader and veteranship to help out ray allen. so we give them battier and juawn. rashard, even though he can't play pf as much as battier can. he still will be our punch off the bench. i think our starter lineup will be the half court set. produces ofense, but also produce defense. our bench would become our fast break team.

our lle, our exception from bob, will fill in our depths. if we can we should try to trade lucas or vspan for picks and any kind of scrup and release him. that way if our ming and mac dynsty is over. we have something to look afterwards. kinda like what sixers did with the other AI
