OT I know but since it was mentioned here....PAO won the Euroleague title... Stunning game, probably the best final in the 20 years of the euroleague...
..Bet Span wishes he was there instead :)

We win this series if Vspan played. Pretty much a guarantee. Alston blew and williams abused him. JVG just doesn't know how to win.

God... that was so terrible to watch... I feel for Deke, the man was so important to us getting to the playoffs and he was rewarded by riding the pine. So unfair.

Sorry...still having technical issues beyond my control. I can't update the video or post video of the rest of the players. I'll keep trying when I can.

Yeah, i am sure he is....great game at every aspect...like NBA playoff game..
If someone watched the game, could really see the domination of two great Greek players, Diamantidhs from Panathinaikos and Papaloukas from CSKA. Tonight's final was another proof that Greek basketball is probably the best in Europe right now

I don't blame Deke for his feelings and maybe playing him more would have won game 7. Either way, it was great having him on the team. He is truly one of the great men in the NBA today.

Still, it's time for the Rockets to move on. Having Yao, Deke and Jake all at the center spot was not a good idea. Going forward, Yao's backup needs to provide some athleticism and speed at the position. Or at a minimum, our new starting PF should be able to function at backup center. The Rockets will never be the Warriors or Suns but we need more versatile players and less one-dimensional players on the team.

    Totally,

Diamantidis stats were a coach's dream for a PG

    28 mins
    15 points at 100% shooting (2/2 2pt, 2/2 3pts, 5/6 ft)
    3 rbs
    3 assists
    2 steals
    6 fouls against

I just don't understand why JVG not play Deke more. When he played the short period in game 7, he did a great job guarding Boozer.

Yao, what can I say, I hate to kick him now, it will be just like kick a puppy...

Didn't some NBA player poll have Yao, Deke AND Jake all among the top 7 slowest player in the league?

Last offseason, I was thinking about needing a defensive PF/C type when Elson and Jarron Collins were both FAs. I still think this type of player would make the Rockets more versatile.

vspan's " I have contract" comment has funny . although he did scratch his head (sign that he is uneasy about the question) when asked if he is going to stay.

I hope vspan stays because the dictator will be gone, so he should get playing time.

I don't know Spanoulis seemed to be reaching. It doesn't sound like he wants to stay.

btw, I only just saw the Span part of the interview and to me it seems like he wants to stay but he wants to know what his status on the team is. I mean if the rocks go for a proven starting PG AND keep Rafer than he really has no incentive to stay....
