wat about yao's inability to defend boozer? his inability to rebound?
his inability to dominate Okur?dominate Collins? dominate Millsap??? TOs? crazy ass 15 ft fadeaways that resulted in airballs down the stretch??

look, im not putting all the blames on yao.. but tmac played a good game in the second half i thought, and tmac was the reason that yao had a decent box-score that the end of the game.. sure tmac could've been better, but you can say that about the whole ****en team, and to say that without yao, the rockets would get swept is just crazy (look at the +/- of whether yao was on the floor or not tonight)

t-mac is the LAST person to blame for this game. if anything it's on yao and his 2 point gifts to Boozer.

No one blames your baby, we just lost a game, which supposedly is on "HIM"...

Blame Yao for not guarding well on Boozer, what a loser...

T-Mac was not the reason for tonight's painful loss. He did everything he could, getting hammered time and again, but not whining about it like certain Jazz players. IMO, it was a great effort, just a wee bit short.

Yao continued to be hammered over and over again, to the point where the refs finally had to call the obvious. Getting up and continuing to play hard after the hyper-extended knee injury showed great courage. Ditto after the flagrant foul by Harpring late in the game

More obvious reasons: Juwon's ill advised jump shots when we were in the penalty. Sloan running plyaer after player in the game just to commit fouls and (effectively styming the Rockets offense). Fantastic 1Q shooting by the Jazz, continuing with some of the luckiest baskets I've ever seen made (while a number of Rockets shots were in and out, but mostly out. Continued poor officiating, e.g. the push of Alston out of bounds and giving the Jazz possession, Kirilenko throwing a rebound out of bounds and the refs give the ball back to Utah.

All in all, I'm very proud of this Rockets team and their efforts. Showing emotion is not a sign of weakness, it shows you really do care. The Team was challenged by some obvious weakneses, but JVG did a remarkable job with what he had to work with; Morley and Les will do whatever it takes to strengthen the team for next year.

I understand fan frustrations, including those brain dead posters who prefer to live in a fantasy world. At least I'm glad we aren't the Mavericks!

It's OK Tmac. True Rockets fans still believe in you. We still need you next season. We need you to lead the Rockets to the destiny next year. We need you to lead the Rockets to win it all next season. We believe!!!

If he wants to win, he has to stop screwing around and pay the price for greatness.

You don't go for the home run when the other team is in the penalty, you attack the basket.

When Fisher is guarding you, go down low on the box....POST that midget up.

Tmac needs to pay the price and play smarter......

That being said, he still needs help on the perimeter....someone else to create when he is doubled.....

I am not of the group he wants to put blame on tmac. I think he played very well. But I also agree with Luffy about the end of the game not driving and instead shooting and hoping some how it would be different this time. So my only fault with him is in the end not deferring to Yao more.

He is a great player who definitely can help the Rockets win a championship as long as he stops making statements on how its on him. It's not on him it on them meaning all of the Rockets and Tmac needs to realize that more and be willing to do whatever it takes for the team to win.

Championships are won in the paint. So if that means deffering to Yao or driving the lane and instead of settling for jumpers than so be it. When he comes to the table with that mentality the Rockets will be a tough team to beat.

This is what Tmac wanted to say:

"I tried my best... maybe I should grab a few loose rebounds (when my centre is only 7- 6.) The team will only go as far as where I take them (Yeah, from now, no more WE as in and my weak ass centre, just Me, Mac). I can't do it man (not when my centre is still handing out water to his stalkers. Can't defend his house, can't defend the paint)".

and it should. he accepted the blame. he didn't blame others at all when the reporters tried to make him to.

i don't care for the tmac blame at all. he has gotten that blame ever since he lost that detroit series with orlando.

i'm just frustrated for him, going to houston and his supporting cast still is borderline aveage.

I think part of what got him so emotional is the fact that he doesn't have nearly enough help around him, and he doesn't want to admit it because he doesn't want to disrespect his teammates. The question asked was about bringing in another scorer to help out...

He's taking the blame for the loss, but he and everyone else knows he didn't have enough help.

he settled in quarter 1. he drove in quarers 2 and 3. he drove the first half of quarter 4, settled for 2 jumpers, then didn't shoot again until he drove for his last bucket. so he drove for 65% of the game i would say.

Ah always figured you for a tmac only fan and it seems it's true and you followed him here from orlando. I do agree though that outside of Yao, the other players are horrid.

    true.

but nobody plays a perfect game. nobody. if he makes those jumpers, u said great shot.

the thing about tmac is he needs to practice his jumper again. it was horrible this season. and i think him taking last offseason off hurt him w/ his rhythm. and that's why he looked slower at times.

let's see what this offseason will help his game. i think he will become the best player next season w/ a strong offseason under his belt. if his jumper falls in this series, it's a wrap b/c he made those same jumpers 2 yrs ago.
