Our team played hard tonight, Yao and T-mac were both good, although our defensive rebounds were horrible in the crucial final minutes. However, I think it's time mix this team up - trade T-mac/trade Yao/let JVG go/ etc. etc. etc. I think this Yao/T-mac/JVG as Rockets franchise was just not meant to be.

To be truthful, I think we need a more balanced offense, more people who can create besides T-mac. This was one of the reasons we were down by 15 at one point in the game because our offense was crap and we had to work so hard to climb back up..yet still lost at the end...

What are some realistic trades we can make in this offseason involving our 2 superstars?

Once T-mac broke his back, we all know it won't gonna be the same as the 04/05 series.

I hate to say it, but its just maybe T-mac just not ment to get out of the first round. I don't mind trading anyone on this team right now.

    anyways............GO WARRIOR!!!!!!!! PAWN THE JAZZ!!

Even Shaq and Kobe go ringless without clutch shots from guys like Horry, Harper and Fisher.

We don't have any guys like that. Like Kenny Smith said before the game "this is when you learn what your team mates are made of."

No use, to win in this league, you need 1) luck 2) owner is willing to spend above luxury tax 3) good management to know how to draft and how to trade for players.

    Rox has none.

We need T-mac, but I don't know what has gotten into his jumpshot. It was pretty good during the regular season but was non-existant in the series. But wow his ability to take it to the hole and finish is mind blowing. And he had freakin whoever they threw at him on his back the entire game and he still took it to him. I think next year Luther needs to start, maybe at the 2 guard and put t-mac back at 3. I mean if people like derek fisher and devin harris who are small player that start at the 2 then I think luther can as well. T-mac and Yao will gel better next year when they have more talent around them. I hear though that the Rockets might get Rick Adelman and I don't if that's a rumor or not, but that gets me excited because our offense could really flourish under him along with more talent. Our defense will probably not drop off considering we still good defensive player like battier, chuck hayes, and t-mac at times.

It's time for Luther to go to a non-contender where he can get plenty of minutes and shots and never have to be burdened with showing up in the playoff series again.

A coach that can best extract efficient dominant play from Yao(not necessarily saying fire jvg, but that could really happen imo)A true power forward, that can attack and hit a consistent 15 fter

A penetrating point guard that can create for others/himself and shoot from inside and outside.

    Consistent 3 point shooters

    Develop a REAL bench(depth) anchored by a legitimate 3rd scoring 6th man.

Wheww, that's a lot of shiit.

It's not that they aren't meant to be. They just have no help. The other players are garbage, especially alston.

It would be a big mistake to even consider getting rid of either T-Mac or Yao.

You can't get talent like that easily, even if you are the Grizzlies or Celtics right now. They are not guaranteed to have the top 2 picks with the lottery. If we trade T-Mac or Yao, it's almost a guarantee that we won't get equal value in return.

What we need is a coach who will develop V-Span and Novak, and have a more innovative offense.
