T_MAC ISN"T GOING ANYWHERE. It's pretty obvious this team lacks in all areas and just need to acquire other pieces.

I GUARANTEE you if the Rockets let it be known that he's on the market, we will get some value back for him. He's an all-around great talent, he does everything and does it well. No superstar is without his shortcomings, even the best wingman in the league (Kobe) has his weaknesses and they're well-advertised. It doesn't mean that they suck.

Let's put him on the market first and then you will see what options we have. I am willing to bet almost every team in the league will at least express some interest. I mean you have Cuban out there, you have the Knicks, you have the Bulls, you have the Sonics, the Clippers even...there are a lot of teams out there that might have something that interests us and might be interested in getting a superstar to build around.

surround him with another play maker. Only if Bonzi came through like he was supposed to. Can't build championships on the cheap =(

The nba has changed. Is the guard league now. If the rockets were to trade, i think they should trade Yao.

Trade Yao/Vspan for Dwight Howard and Ariza.

Why Magic will do this? Because with Yao, they will got low post presence and be a contender. There are no big men in the east plus yao bring instant revenue which the magic organization needs.

The trade Juwan with his expiring contract to whichever team draft Yi Jian Lian. Yi is a prospect, I think team will accept the trade because of Juwan expiring contract which they can use to trade for veteran player then waiting for Yi to develop.

    Rockets new roster:
    D.Howard/Deke
    Hayes/Yi
    Battier/Ariza
    T-mac/Head
    Alston/ 1st round draft pick

Les get Yi to replace Yao so he can continue to be a billionaire from chinese markets. With this new roster, the team is more athletic and incredible at defense! Howard may not be low post threat but his rebounding is the KEY. The rockets can run like when the period yao's out replacing old deke with D. howard!

It will be a great team!

no matter what, I am expecting a big shake up in the rockets this off season.

Les is making too much money off tmac and Yao, so honestly i don't think they will be traded. Les is losing fans support if no moves are make.

we need big stronger PF and better shooters as PG.

Tmac is not the problem, he os the only one only this team that can do ****. They need another athletic scorer and a new coach.

I think Rafer is an asset, but we just can't have a PG who is not a good shooter. Get Yao and T-mac a PG who can stroke it. we can live with Hayes/Juwan at PF.

I think ya'll would be suprised by how much more outside shooting will help us.

Screw trading T-Mac. If we have to trade Yao or T-Mac, it has to be Yao. We lost this series largely because Yao could not guard Carlos Boozer and we chose not to put him up against Okur because of the matchup problems. I think Chuck would have done much better on Boozer.

If we would have made it through the first round, the matchup problems would have been even worse. Can you imagine Yao chasing around Al Harrington?

If we would have been extremely fortunate enough to make it through the second round and ended up against Phoenix, we all know the matchup problems Yao has with them. The big man is becoming obsolete. It's just the way the league is going.

It's sad, because I've always been a Yao fan, but I just think these issues are only going to get worse as the league evolves.

However, I hope I'm wrong, because I know Yao isn't going anywhere.

No team is going to trade their stars for damaged goods.

You should try to get much better offers for Yao instead.

Who's the one that showed up in this series? Even 1 great player can't win a series on his own, ask Kobe. And the Suns defense isn't even as good as the Jazz's.

But anyways...your trade idea is good.

I'd put up: T-Mac, Rafer for Bibby, Shareef, and a first rounder.

We get a PG, get rid of Rafer, get a decent PF, and a future 1st round pick. I'm not sure if the salaries work out or not.

The Kings get a superstar they need, someone to create plays for Kevin Martin and take away pressure in the clutch, and they get a PG to replace Bibby for a while.

Or I'd trade him and Head to the Bulls for Hinrich/Gordon, Deng, and Nocioni. I'm sorry i'm too lazy to do salary research but just from a standpoint of necessity for each team:

We get a good PG, a reliable scorer in Deng, and a good PF in Nocioni.

They get the superstar they need to be a championship team, and another perimter shooter.

Horrible trade idea! People continue to not realize T-Mac's value to this team. Without him, we would have NO CHANCE to even get into the playoffs. Did you guys not see his effort out there tonight and what has been asked of this man over his last 2 playoff series?

I have never seen a star with this much asked of him on a nightly basis. Every possession, every play, every pass, every game is dependent on him playing at an unbelievably high level.

This team does not need a Tmac trade, this team needs to get Tmac help. Yao didnt step up tonight until the 4th quarter, thats unacceptable. Last time I checked hes a max player, the blame falls on him just as much as it does on everyone else.

Facing constant double teams and defensive pressure, Tmac scored 29 and found a way to get about 11 assists out there. In no way shape or form am i saying that Tmac doesnt deserve blame, he certainly does, especially for his play on the road in this series, but he is the LEAST of the problems this team has.

Tmac is damaged goods. If possible, I would trade him for KG, but minny wouldn't go for that.

Tmac isnt going anywhere. Yao being traded would be a higher chance.

We don't trade him though his contract looks a little bit heavy too me.

Get in another offensive talent in pg or pf this offseason will be great. If Les did nothing to improve this team to save his little $$(compared to what he gain from TMac and Yao's marketability), I think this team is done for years to come. TMac will be disinterested and Yao will opt out after his contract to a big market team.

I like the trade with Micheal Redd and Charlie V. they would fit well with Yao Ming, damn that would be amazing!!

    However, how bout Ray Allen?

    Paul Gasol?

    Jermaine O'Neal ?

    Paul Pierce?

    Peja/Chandler?

    Magloire/Roy?

    Arenas?

Which one of these guys would you want?

I'd take Chandler/Peja....good fit in my opinion.
