I feel for him man. The guy has SO many responsibilities on offense. Especially in this series where Yao was so inconsistent. The ENTIRE offense was on his shoulders. :(

This team is just not good enough. This team lack real shooting. look at the Jazz, they have guys like Giricek, Fisher, Harpring, basically all of their roll player CAN SHOOT the ball. Outside of Head and Battier, this team seriously lacks in this department.

you must not have ever been in an upper lever competitive sport... Or have something that really meant something to you.

Uh, Utah single covered Yao most of the time with Okur.

He shot 43% for the season so you are wrong again.

We are limited since we are over the cap. We use the full MLE every year. Les couldn't spend more money even if he wanted to.

This trade Tmac or Yao is pure STUPID TALK. One thing this series exposed is that JVG has not offensive mind. Look at Sloan, there was a lot of moment, cuts, and eventually open shots. If anything should change .. we need to add better role players and JVG (if he were to stay, b/c I do like the defensive he brings) then he needs to hire a offense assistance coach and get some plays going that works.

But to be honest we bank on Wells for our 3rd scorer and he flaked on us. In the playoffs you need that "consistent" 3rd scorer, and we had no one to be that person.

Head .. Juan..Rafer....Battier (on road games) that is 4 of our 8 1/2 rotation that decided to brick it in. Time for adding a deeper bench and JVG is not going to win a championship EVER!

Right, I don't know you can have six players on the court at the same time.

exactly, there's a reason kobe didn't show up in any but one 4th quarter v. the suns.

tmac basically did EVERYTHING for us. everything. every point we scored was off of his presence and creativity.

u guys want him to drive all day? go ask kobe and why he can't drive all day either. it's tiring. he needs others to step up and they didn't.

    it's on broadband now, NBA.COM

Damn, we are all sitting here feeling crummy, but we didn't do anything, these players put their heart and soul 24/7 into this season, they probably feel 1 million times worse

you think turnover machine V-span could have made a difference?

or STeve "no D" Novak could be effective against this physical Utah team?

Please, Tsakilidas can't play defence or offense. there's no need to try, we all know.

Luther and Howard are the ones i've most pissed about. they gave us nothing.

I agree, but vspan and novak should have been developed over the season. It only helps deepen the bench.

I believe that Yao did not entirely recover from his knee injury. He should not go back to China this summer. He needs to rest his body.

I really thought or I guess wanted to believe we would see a dominant tmac these playoffs. I just can't describe my disappointment in him right now. The former scoring champ tmac is officially gone and he's never coming back. :(

That's until his back starts acting up. Seriously, I'm not saying to trade him, but he simply can't carry this team himself. Not in the western confrence.

What difference does it make if T-Mac says "It's on me", because those of us that watch basketball know it's not really on him b/c "it takes 5" and Yao was disappointing in relation to his potential. I'd take Yao's sorry games, but it's tough b/c we know he can do better. This game came down to the fact that we were playing 3 on 15.

TMac did have a good game. But it would have gotten us the W had he kept attacking the rim in the last 7 minutes. He lost the lead when Yao was on the bench and he lauched those long jumps and 3s in the last few minutes and of couse did not get in. He had a terrific first 3 qts but in the 4th qt he disappeared. Tmac is no basketball god and he needs help. but do not try your best defending him like he did nothing wrong leading to the loss tonight. He is the one to be blamed because he wanted it this way by saying this is his team and it is on him. Who knows what is Yao thinking after hearing Tmac's comment.

Tmac clearly has lost a step or 2. Last game when we were down by 1, he had two consecutive turn overs and Utah took advantage of that and never looked back. Tmac is accountable for the loss as guilty as anyone on the team.

A change must be in order. JVG has to leave and either Yao or Tmac should be traded. Their games just do not fit with each other.

Lets go Warriors and beat the crap out of the ugly Utah jazz

    cover his rear

Stop looking at the damn boxscore!!!! Sure Yao had his points, but it doesn't mean jack if the player you are guarding (Boozer) is outplaying you every damn game!!! This series exposed Yao's major weakness, which is defense.

This might be the most delusional post I've ever read on Clutchfans or Clutchcity.

    Congrats.
