Hey, when you say "It's all on me" you had better be willing to live with those words. I don't have any confidence left in TMac leading the team anywhere (Yao either). We'll just have to be satisfied with mediocrity for the forseeable future.

It's not exactly Spanoulis' fault that the Rockets brought him over here and not give him a single chance to prove his worth

It's not exactly Novak's fault that he's in street clothes instead of being someone we could have looked to for 3 point shooting

There's also a big center name Tsakilidas who could play a little bit of offense and defense if given the chance. Is he a better option than Mutombo? Maybe not. But it wouldn't hurt to try would it?

Luther Head? I have no reason to defend him. He folded under pressure like origami.

Juwan Howard? He probably could have made a difference against Dallas 2 years ago. Now, he's just another person cashing a paycheck.

tracy is NOT a perfect player. he's not the best player. that's kobe bryant.

but he's a top 5 player. he can't score as efficiently as he once did, but he can still score 25ppg easy. he has become the best playmaker outside of steve nash.

but yao is just not that superstar that tmac came here for. i'm sorry. yao got his numbers, and u can only say that's a great performance is if u look at the boxscores.

if u watch the game, yao is not dominant at all. no double teams as the series progressed. utah feared him less and less. they attacked him like a mutha.

and STOP MAKING YAO INTO THAT GUY. he's not. his personality is not up to it. but i won't blame yao b/c he would admit that too.

secondly, rafer has got to go. we became too dependent on him and that stopped the development of head somewhat and the bench.

hayes is a bench player. howard is too inconsistent w/ his J.

    man, this season sucks.

and yes, tmac needs to play harder the whole season to get a better seed to play easier teams

I hate to admit this, but it's true... Yao's still not fully back from his knee injury, he used to hit those turnarounds and jumpers and used to run faster... With more stamina to boot. I thought I smelt a bit of inadequate coaching there. JVG's been getting owned by Sloan... Our offense was a mess, while the Jazz always seemed to have some kind of smart play in their sleeves.

This is his team, if we don't get out of the first round, its on him!

Crying over a lose? I don't think so, but if he did, then I know why his name is Tracy.

So, Who to blamed? Well, it depends on what the new GM and Less want and willing to do this off season.

    1. I honestly think JVG was the biggest blame for this lost series.

why? one offensive game plan, pass inside to Yao. Yao became the pivotal point and all defenders on Yao. no alternative JVG can't teach offense.

    2. Tmac need to re=exam his shootings again. he is shooting below 40% most of the time.

    3. Les open your wallet and stop being cheap

The bottom line is T-mac is a great talent but not a great player. It kills me to say it too b/c I love the guy. Just too many mental mistakes when it matters most.

January 25, 2004. The date T-Mac was fooled.

He saw 37 points on 15-23 shooting, 10 rebs, 2 blocks, and thought he was seeings a dominating force. He was so busy admiring the stat line, he didn't notice the slowness. The clumsiness. The utter lack of athletic ability. He was fooled.

I am not mad he cried. He wanted it and couldn't get it? The crying was just frustration. He can't do it by himself.

And what would we have done without McGrady in this series?

I almost cried when I saw him bending over holding his knees at the end of the game. I know how he must feel and how much he wanted it. He has done his best in this game and almost single-handedly kept us in the game. I don't wanna say anything about Yao now, hopefully Yao will learn his lesson and do better next year. One more thing, it's time for Les to spend some money and get us better supporting cast. Seriously, ous offense is so predictable and limited.

and then u make yao ur #1 option. i'm sorry, is that gonna make this team better?

this series has shown ALL of his weaknesses. all of them. he cannot carry a team.

he can't carry the team when tracy went out. he can't carry this team when single coverage was there for domination.

go ahead, trade tracy. it aint like tracy would be mad leaving yao

I blame tmac a bit for this loss. He has no killer instinct and doesn't come through in the clutch. The rockets took the lead with tmac on the bench and then yao got them the lead, but when he went to the bench, tmac lost the lead. Tmac was a huge disappointment these playoffs and he's lucky yao carried the rockets to even take it to 7 games, otherwise the jazz sweep this series in 4. You fooled us all tmac. :(

The man was tired. He is required to do too much. We need to get the ball out of his hands and allow someone to share some of the load.
