    TMAC Post Game Interview

Very emotional. Never seen Tracy breakdown during a press event before. For once, he had no words. In all fairness, u can't single handedly carry a team by yourself. Just knowing that he feels that passionate about winning, that's all the comfort I need. Next season, I just hope he gets more help.

McGrady is not the reason this team lost to Utah and he sure as hell doesn't deserve the blame for it.

McGrady MUST play the whole season so that we can get a higher seed and not have to get into knock down, drag out fights in the first round of the playoffs. Secondly, instead of playing the end of the season and playoffs with energy/fire, he HAS to do it the whole season. He hasn't won anything to do anything less.

That is all I'm going to say about McGrady for now.

T-Mac will be MVP next year, he will take no **** from anyone, he will drive to the basket again, he will lead this team to the Championship.

He was the only guy (next to Battier) worth a crap the entire series. He might be limited a bit by his back, but he's still far and away the best player we have.

Too bad he couldn't guard Boozer too. But if the fans want him gone, Les should trade him. Let's build around Yao and just move forward. I am seriously hoping this is he case right now, because more than anything else I am sick and tired of the YOFs and the TOFs.

It may be time to trade him if we can. He didn't back up his it's on me talk. The jazz were in the penalty in the 4th, but he stopped attacking. Without Yao this series, utah sweeps us. Tmac doesn't have the killer instinct and winning attitude. He really disappointed me this series. I thought things would be different. I guess it's like his commercial..we were all fooled. :(

I love the guy but he has mental lapses like no other. You have Derek Fisher on you and you shoot turnaround-fadeaway jumpers? You have the opponent on the ropes and if they foul you, you get free throws. And yet, after the team iso'd for you against Fisher, you take a jumper? I don't mind Tracy taking it easy during the regular season. It chafes me, but I'll manage to get over it. But in the playoffs? You have to get tough. Baron Davis had knee surgery and was still taking the ball to the hoop and dunking.

u can't blame tmac. w/o him, its a 30pt blowout. he brought us back. sure u can blame tmac for that 2 jumper stretch, but yao was bad for 3 whole quarter and can't get a board to save his life.

alston, head, howard still didn't show up. only battier did, but battier only showed up 2 games.

    JVG sucks.

this team shouldn't really be this good. tmac covered A LOT of our weaknesses.

when jordan started winning, he didn't have to create plays, just finish.

tmac is still creating and finishing for this damn team

He and Dirk are going to take a lot of heat this offseason. Im beginning to think Tracy will be like Dominique Wilkins: Great Talent, but never went anywhere in the playoffs. Really sad, even if you arent a Rockets fan, because he is such a likeable guy. I dont know if or when he will see a better chance than this year though.

He's another Vin Baker waiting to happen. Trade him while you can still get something good for him.

He needs help. He and Yao can't get it done alone. Our options are limited with only a low first rounder and the MLE. We don't really have any assets we can trade.

The other thing we have to do is stay healthy next season. We could be a 55-60 win team if we don't have Yao and T-Mac out for so long. Then again, home court obviously wasn't the key tonight, so even that might not be enough.

Sad, and it's not completely his fault. Hopefully he learned his lesson the what - SIXTH time around? His free throw shooting didn't help matters either, nor his attitude most of the series.
