I was very unimpressed. I thought it was the worst of the 3. It had to be the cheesiest of the three. Normally, after getting out of a movie theater, I feel I really enjoyed the movie I just saw. Not so with Spiderman 3. It was a letdown, unfortunately. Cool fight scenes and some humor, but the movie just wasn't that good.
I give your post TWO THUMBS down because there's no reasons as to why you give two thumbs down. Freaker, at least tell us what you didn't like. You don't ever see me post "Hey, I p00ped today!" and leave you hanging. Pun intended.
I was disappointed. You only get to see Venom for 3 seconds occasionally... I wanted to really see him. You know? The movie was just lacking. 1 was about the transformation of Peter. 2 was about the acceptance of Spider-man. 3 was blah. I hope Transformers or even Pirates will be decent.
Wow 63% on rotten tomatoes. It is getting slammed http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/spiderman_3/ It looks like I am going to wait for the dvd.
uuh..spiderman was never a "badass"...he was always a nerdy superhero and had more often than not he was corny. But thats what made him special. the whole idea behind spiderman is that he is just a 'regular' person.
meh, was good, but disappointing in the same way. Honestly, JJ Jameson and Topher Grace stole the spotlight in this movie Spoiler damn emo spiderman had to be the dumbest thing ever.... the whole "Mask" ripoff in the Jazz Bar, and was Eddie Brock that funny in the comics? Does anybody else think that Bryce Dallas Howard was hot? pale? yea, but damn she looks good as a blonde
The first hour and a half completely blows away the first two movies. Great plot development, great nods to the source material, great scripting. However... Spoiler The film falls apart as soon Spidey goes to the church to rid himself of the symbiote. They basically throw us right from that into a Venom/Sandman teamup and finale... Harry gets some nice closure with his redemption, and even Sandman is able to bow out nobly like Doctor Octopus did in part two. But Venom, man oh man... He really would have been better served if they had just stopped the Brock subplot at the church where he was possessed by the symbiote. Not just from a storyline perspective, but from a technological one as well. The shots of Venom talking were even more painful to watch then the Green Goblin's Power Rangers suit in the first film. The CGI could have used an extra two-to-four years advancement.
Spoiler Venom actually does have a nice twisted sense of humor in the comics when he's not super pissed off. I thought Topher Grace did an excellent job in his portrayal of Brock. This movie could have used more JJJ. The scene with him negotiating with the little girl was gold.
the jamesom actor plays the part perfect. i thought he stole the show in the 1st one. "Meat. I can give you a box of meat. Now get out of here and done come back. Bring me more pictures!"
Spider man has officially "Jumped the shark" I was laughing out loud at some points and not because it was funny. DD
I have a 6-year-old who likes the first two movies and an 8-year-old that could care less... is this third one SFK? Anyone...? Anyone...? Bueller...? Anyone...?
What an awful, awful movie. I walked out 15 min before it was over. Bad lines, cheesy dialog, terrible acting, and bad CGI….Seriously, not a single good moment in the entire thing.
Max, I went to see it today to find out if it was ok for my 8 year old.....I think it is too violent. Just thought you should know. DD
thanks for the heads up. it's one of those things based on knowing your kids. i'm ok with it with my older boy. not sure i would be with my younger boy, even when he's the age of my older boy.
Just got back, I thought it was the best of the 3. Some cheesy parts in it, but action seens were well done
