How soon before you hate Golden State?

I'm from the bay area, but i'm a rockets fan and I've never liked the warriors. Now all my friends and other people from the bay are thinking GS is the best team in the league. It's getting a little annoying.

 

The only thing to hate the Gs for is their fans make other teams' fans look like crap.

 

Right now i love them to death but starting saturday, at around 11pm ill absolutely hate them.

 

i hate them since the last time we played them.

If the Rockets win Saturday, I will not hate GS, I will hope we crush them but I LOVE the way they play the game.

Hating a team is all in how they play the game.

We used to hate Seattle because they got away with cheating(zone defense anyone?)

We hate Utah because of the moving screens, dirty plays, flops, and a big frickin Moving Bear Hug Screen.

We hate the Mavs because of flopping, horrid officiating(though not really the mavs fault), a pretentious owner, flopping, and a couple of the biggest whiners in the league. And did I mention flopping??

Golden State seems to do it right. They play hard, don't flop or complain any more than most teams do, have fun, and dont try to cheat.

 

when i think of the *potential* next round, i feel so, so wary....

if they think mavs fans looked bad compared to GSW, ours will look like ****. if we do make it to the next round, the rockets should do something to make sure the rowdier fans come out for the game. god...our arena will look so dead compared to theirs. and the entire country will jump on the warriors bandwagon.

Yep. Right now they're my second favorite team. If we win on Saturday, they will instantly become my least favorite team.

 

but this team is infinitely tougher than that team.

When the final buzzer sounds in Houston Saturday night. (I'm assuming we win of course.) But this time I'll actually respect the other team and how they play.
