Trade Yao or Dirk?

The weaknesses of Yao have been completely exposed in this playoff series. Yeah right...he's injured...JVG doesn't know how to use him...the entry passes suck...yada yada yada...whatever. But a 'superstar' is supposed to take his game to the next level in the playoff and obviously Yao hasn't done that. Many Rockets fans hate him now.

Dirk 2/13 and 8 points in an all-important live and die playoff game. The Dallas fans hate him now. He's being called all kinds of names on the Mavs boards. The Mavs might go a new direction and try to rebuild with Yao.

Would you trade Yao for Dirk? I'd at least seriously consider it.

That's the worst STINKIN' idea I've ever heard of. Move back to the lofts in the West End, Mav fan.

I WOULD SERIOUSELY consider it. but when it's all said and done, i would reject it. i believe we will beat utah and the suns and will be champions. all these bash mac and yao trades would look outrages in about a month. keep believing.

Yao isn't indispensable, but for Dirk? Hell no. Don't trade an arguable choker for a proven choker.

I don't know about you but tonight's mav vs gs game showed why playoff games are just so much more important than regular season games. Whats the point of being the #1 seed if your star player plays like crap in the playoff and lose?

I don't want to see dirk, a rival, and widely rocket hated player in a rox jersey...

Trade Head + 1st Rounder (+ Conditional Future 2nd, if necessary)

    For

    ACIE LAW.

we need a hoss with ice veins. and we also need a starting caliber PG.

Cuban has always maintained Yao wasn't a franchise player. Nelly was the one who wanted him on the Mavs from day one.

Yao's not been playing up to his fans' expectation in this series, that's for sure. But how are you so confident Dirk is gonna give your better value in return, especially in light of his performance tonight?

BTW, your boy played like crap too. Chances are either he is gonna be traded before Yao, or JVG is sent home to spend more time with his family.
