    JVG good at: D
    JVG bad at:
    1. No ability to use his players properly. Players need to fit him.
    2. Too trust his 8 players and Too little trust to other players.
    3. Players play for him is too worry about to make mistake and hesitate to shot.
    4. No idea to develop young players.
    5. Game plan is really flat and no fun to watch.
    .......

    JVG Sucks.

Yeah, somewhere between the World Championships when he was dominating Chris Paul and the start of training camp, he had a stroke and banged his head on a rock and turned into Ryan Bowen short.

Sam, I respect you man. I really do. But, this is the playoffs. You gotta get to the hole. The Warriors are dominating the Mavericks because Davis is going to the hole relentlessly. You need more than one player who is 6'9" going to the rack. The defense is taking away the one skill that our role players have, that is spot up shooting. Surely you see that.

Our offense is fatally flawed until we get a real point that can be an efficient offensive threat, that can break down the D, and get to the rim and take the pressure off Mcgrady to allow him to do what he is best at, that is score the basketball.

Our guard play has been horrible this series.

I agree with you but I just disapoint on Tmacs' jumper. So inconsistence.
I just wish he can find it in 7th game.

I still blame on JVG's O plan, he really need to develop 3rd scorer in our team.
Dallas has stackhouse, suns have babosa, ... we have ... sucks.

    Turn over again kill us

    Turn over again kill us

If we can not control our turn over we can compete with them. Let's not make any mistake this is game 7 treat every possession like gold. And please jump on them first at home we could not afford to play catch up for game 7.

something im very concerned about is the way ming is portraying himself. i know he's upset because he thinks he has been playing subpar but im thinking maybe he's just reacting from the attitude in the locker room.?. :(

Would that be the same WC's where he got dominated by the woeful Chinese NT point guards in a group game?

One game, Jo, one game. I don't have to explain why one silly exhibition game over the summer is of limited vlaue, or else Earl the Goat Manigault would be the best player ever.

I don't see the defense taking it away, I see us missing shots. And when they do take it away, I see our one on one, max salary superstars not forcing hte issue to the extent they should and that great players do. They single covered Yao most of the night. You know what Shaq or Hakeem (or even Robinson or Ewing) would do when faced with the insult of a single team by Mehmet Okur in a close-out playoff game? My god, he would be running home to Istanbul, crying into his kebab. I'm talking 30 or 40 points.

This team doesn't make crisp passes, not only to Yao, but to each other, esp when the cutters cut. They always have a slight hesitation, then the time has gone and past. If they do still try to make the pass, it's a turnover. I don't know why but from my point of view, the whole team has this infection.

I don't understand why Yao isn't facing up for an easy over his man jumper. He has completely stopped doing that. I do see why he is fading away. Anytime he tries to body his man, they flop and Yao gets called for a foul. Okur does that once or twice a game. An obvious flop when all Yao does is raise his arms and they call Yao for an offensive foul. The refs are seriously taking Yao out of the game. They are letting too much contact take place. HE IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE LIKE SHAQ. Yao is a finesse player that is affected by lots of contact. He should still be making those fadeaways though, he's like wide open. This is a shot that he would normally make, but I think he's fatigued by all the contact and bodying that the Jazz are giving him. If the refs don't call the fouls (Yao is always poorly officiated anyhow) then Yao has to go to the hole strong and make them call the foul. Someone else has said it already, if they call the offensive on the flop, then F-it, bec Shaq never fouled out for offensive fouls. They always called one or two on him, but then would swallow their whistles for the rest of the gosh awful flops. Yao needs to drop step, and either go up strong right away, or pump fake it once to get Kirilenko out of the way then stuff it or get fouled. I dont know but he needs to do SOMETHING different. His stats are great, but he really isn't impacting the game as much as he should.

Tmac I think played ok, they actually played great d on him but he could have gotten more fouls as well. How come they aren't calling the reach-in foul? If they reach and it slows down the offensive player bec your arm is impeding his progress, that;s a reaching foul. But regardless, he needs to go to the hole strong , strong, strong, over and over and over. He went strong and got blocked and went again and missed and then he seemed content to shoot from outside. If he keeps going strong he puts that continuous pressure and the defense and they will eventually break. He gave up on that tonight I think.

Jvg is a good coach but he is not the right coach for this team. Our offense should not be this predictable and stagnant with the players that we have. We have unstoppable players at two positions and decent spot up shooters and we can't get easy looks even out of timeouts! I personally like vspan, and wanted bonzi to work but they didn't and there is no point crying about it now bec at this point theres nothing to be done about that. We are stuck with our 7 man rotation and our offense really blows. It really blows worse then our defense does right now, and that is pretty bad. I know that he isn't on the floor, but he is our coach and I believe the reason that our offense sucks so bad.

However, the rockets are still gonna beat Utah. We are gonna beat the winner of dallas vs gstate. We are gonna beat San Antoinio (If Phoenix wins, we're screwed). We are gonna beat the Eastern Conference and win it all this year. Sloan has just done an excellent job of minimizing our strengths, and maximizing our weaknesses. JVG has done a poor job of countering, but lucky for him, we have two superstars that can make up for his lack of coaching prowess.

    Go rockets

Like Shaq did all season and in the playoffs??? It's a different game. Hakeem would get called for 4 offensive fouls the way the Jazz flop out there like a bunch of fish stranded on the beach after the tide pulls back. And McGrady has done just about everything he can possibly do. He got exactly zero calls tonight and he got totally butchered in the paint. Today's game with the handcheck rules and the officiating favors little men who can both dribble drive, finsh, and shoot it. And it's the playoffs. THE PLAYOFFS ARE ALWAYS ABOUT ROUGHER TOUGHER STYLE OF PLAY WITH QUICKER DEFENSIVE ROTATIONS AND A LOT OF CONTACT IS LET GO. YOU GOTTA TAKE THE BALL TO THE RACK AND RAFER AND LUTHER CANNOT DO THAT.

Mcgrady and Yao ain't the problem here.

Jazz fan is not man enough to face us. They tried to hide from us right away. I could not connect to their crib after so many tries. They are a bunch of chickens.

can u do similar things like this?

first , trade yao with Jermaine O'Neal next season.

second, With Yao, houston is forever a jelly fish.

thrid, Tmac you can dominate the game as what you did in the Orlando Magic.

fourth. Yao you try to get dirty and make a dirty hell game.

man we was right there!!! It's like when we were down, we would play good to get the score close again. But soon as we got it close again, we just went into **** mood. T-mac had a decent game, he limited his jump shots and drove to the hoop when he could, just couldn't buy a call tonight. I wish that last 3 he took would have went in, that would have changed the game. Yao needs to be more dominate. Every time he gets the ball outside the paint, I can just see a turnover or bad shot about to happen. Hopefully we get it together.
