Utah practically handed this win to us, and WE BLEW IT BIG TIME. Unvelievable poor ball handing and shot selection lost this game. Utah went 2-15 at one point, and we couldn't take the lead.

 

Outscored 16-5 to end the game .. absolutely pathetic.

 

Yao should be practicing that fade away jumper instead of all those 15 foot jump shots he does in the shoot around. He must have missed like 80% of those shots this series. Have to agree with the Yao critics, yes he has scored some points this series but his soft slow footed defense and turnovers has offset anything he has contributed on the offfensive end.

He just doesn't seem have the mindset to take over a game. He has one more chance in game 7 and I hope he comes up big.

 

What does a comfortable lead feel like again? I don't think I've seen one since we beat Philly. I would like just once for the rockets to have a nice lead, it seems like it's impossible to get more than 7, yet we get beat by almost 20. I'm starting to think the Jazz are the better team, they're at least able to keep a game close on our home court, it's more than we can say....

 

those goddam idiots don't deserve to win a thing, what's the difference between winning 1st round then lose in second and not getting out of the 1st round after all?

Well Tracy, Yao and the rest of them talked about having HCA, and now they better pray that it works out for them because we choked this game away.

I am so disappointed with Yao and his attitude/demeanor during this series. Now it truly is win or go home.

Ugh, this sucks. The Warriors are my only hope for salvaging a terrible night.

 

I hate game 7s.

 

Game 7 will stink... another year McGrady won't pass the 1st round.

 

This is a rational view on why we lost the game:

T-Mac is a scorer who WILL take some random jump shots. We CAN live with that. But when we're trailing by one or two after a long time in the hole, with a CHANCE to tie or take the lead, JVG MUST in the future draw up plays. Those possessions to tie or take leads are worth TWICE the normal basket given the momentum-changing aspect.

Rather, today the Rockets blew several chances late in the game when they trailed just by 1. T-Mac threw up several jumpers. AGAIN, I respect that, but just DON'T do that on those specific situations. GET TO THE BASKET!

Yao had 3 TO's for 3-sec violation. That is the kind of TO you can work to reduce. It is all about timing.

But he needs to stop taking fade aways when he is obviously off target for the night. If something doesn't work, try something else!

 

WE HAD 4 CHANCES TO TAKE THE LEAD, AND WE DIDN'T!!!

like I said, Utah will lose this series because they did not handle their last 7-8 regular season games like they should have

they are clearly a deeper team and will loose this series just because we had homecourt advantage
