Thanks Clutch. You guys do a terrific job of policing this board.

Now, how about that Rafer? ;)

how will it help him if they're not calling fouls? the point of that is that u can't touch them, which gives the offensive player an advantage to draw fouls.

Somebody better tell Juwan to not clap on the bench, or he will get tossed out of the game !

    Man, what a bad call....

the no call hack on juwan was a 5 pt turn around...

right after the no call, boozer got two plus the foul on a fast break.

yeah i'm not sure Yugo so much crossed the line with his comment as he crossed the line, then circled all the way around the globe and then crossed it again.

and we've gone to the basket plenty to have more than 4 ft's. tmac alone should have 4-6 and like others have pointed out, i'm not sure how juwan wasn't fouled on his drive.

for some reason i feel good about this game, which worries me, b/c i never feel good about a game. i feel like my optimism from winning game 5 is jinxing us here.

Sorry, i should have made myself clear. He should let the officials hear it about the excessive hand checking so that he can use the rules to his advantage.

Good call on yugo, Clutch...that was messed up.

Yao puzzles me. He goes for the dunk on Boozer, but single coverage by Millsap or Collins and we see jumpshots. Still, his shots are falling...but...eh.

...I do like how this game is going though. Especially the Mac-Ming P&R. If we don't let them Jazz run us over in the 3rd (game 4), then this is a win.

it is a BS call, but Juwan shouldn't make the stupid hard foul, Juwan always made some stupid fouls.

    Recap:

    - Mac and Rafer came to play tonight, hopefully they can keep it up for the rest of the game.

    - Yao is...struggling, to put it mildly; his defense has taken a major hit in this series. He's getting bullied inside by no-name guys and a bunch of 'midgets' (compared to his 7'6" frame, that is). Still doesn't seem to have overcome the 'trauma' of playing this Jazz team.

    - Shane Battier...where art thou? I love your D and hustle plays, but make your open shots or post up for an easier shot if you're struggling from the outside. We need your offense, it's really not a 'luxury' at this point.

Overall, I am surprisingly upbeat after the first half. I think we held our own but had a few calls go against us and made way too many TOs in the first quarter, but for the most part we've survived that.

Win or lose, this second half will tell me a LOT about the character of this team. I want to see some resiliency out there, some toughness and some consistency for a change. Play like these are the last 24 minutes of your careers.

LOL @ Craig Sager's interview of Okur right before the half... He asks Okur about the technical and tries to avoid it because he knows he over-reacted and was lucky HE wasn't the one that got the tech. Sager asks him if he heard what Juwan was saying to the ref (I think Mauer?) and Okur says he wasn't there "so it's all good"

Yao dunked on Boozer because Boozer sold out high allowing Yao to put the ball on the floor once and take it baseline for a dunk.
