I think there has been threads in the past about this, but I was wondering what songs you guys like to workout to. I just got an ipod shuffle for when I work out, was going to get some ideas. Please be specific, as in name the song/artist, would be much appreciated. thanks
I generally listen to whole albums when I workout. I've been jamming to Maps recently. http://www.myspace.com/mapsmusic The new track "You don't know her name" from their upcoming album is really good. Also check out Mew: http://www.myspace.com/mew "Zookeepers Boy" "Special" "Snow Brigade" "Chinaberry Tree" Sound Team tracks pump me up when on the bench: http://www.myspace.com/soundteam "Fastest Man Alive" "Your Eyes are Liars" "Born to Please"
Right now it's the entire Sickness album from Disturbed for me and nothing else. That used to be a staple in my workout mix. dig through the ditches..

I don't know why, but I was captivated to watch the whole video through. Maybe its because Carl Lewis is a badass. I didn't understand the old lady part though.
I usually listen to DJ sets hOuse or trance music. I never switch songs and i try to listen to new sets so it keeps my attention as to wondering what song will they play next.

Good call! I usually listen to house, minimal tech, and the like. BS...here's a great link for live sets... http://alldj.org/index.php Enjoy!
Some of the links on that site are dead...but most of the stuff within the last two months is still alive. If you can't find a DJ that you like listed on the main page, try the search...they have a ton of unlisted great DJs on there...like James Zabiela and Airwave. BTW...any set spun by James Zabiela should be sufficient for any high intensity work out. JZ's sets are digital adrenaline!!!
