Both of these guy are being shipped around by the Bucks. I think a package of Tim Thomas and Tractor Traylor were offered for Ike Austin. I really think we could use E. Johnson even when Dream and Cato gets back. If we do get E.J. he can hold the center spot really well and allow Dream or Cato to work the PF's. If we could get E.J. only I would still love it.

Tim Thomas is a mystery to me, I hear this kid has loads of potential, yet he is failing to any signs of his potential. Tim Thomas reminds me a lot of Carlos Rogers, so I don't think he is as vital as E.J.

What do you guys think it would take to get one or both of these guys?

I think they both would help us this year, especially with inside protection and a strong forward tandem with our present guys.

I hopethey will be not picked up because they won't ever be involved with our future plans.

I know they were both offered in a trade with the Rockets earlier this fall and were turned down.

Tim Thomas in my opinion would be nice addition.

But Earvin Johnson! I just fail to see how so many lately have sort of gotten excited about him. If he's so exciting then why is Milwaukee always dangling him. He is a shot blocker and nothing more. We already have Cato and while another shot blocker doesn't hurt it is not a top priority. He's too one dimensional. We need a more complete player like Thomas too be able insert in the lineup.

I think they'd both be good pick ups.

Johnson is no spring chicken, but he's a good defensive center, who'd be an asset after Hakeem retires. He would also allow Cato to play more minutes at PF.

I don't see why Thomas wouldn't fit into our future plans. He's young and athletic and he fills a hole at SF for us. He may not be the next Dominique Wilkins or Larry Bird, but he's better than what we have now.

    I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem.
