Here are my thoughts on last night's show: Phil - okay performance but I think he has maxed out his potential. It seems like to me that Randy and Paula show him way too much love to try to counteract all the hate he gets from Simon. I think he will be one of the two to leave but it is going to be close. Jordin - She gives an unbelievable peformance a week ago and then was a disaster last night with "Living on a Prayer" - clearly the wrong song for her. However, I still think that she is safe. But she can't have any more disasters like last night in the future. Blake - Hands down, the best performance of the night. It will be an absolute joke if he gets voted off tonight. He will have a record contract and become a big star (I have a man crush on him as well but not as bad as the one that DaDakota has for him ). LaKisha - gave a strong performance and she needed it desperately after floundering the last couple of weeks. Whether or not it is enough to save her is another story. Chris - Did the best he could with a song that is really not in his genre. I think he knows that he won't be around much longer. Melinda - Another ho-hum performance for her. She's safe but I have found her lately to be incredibly boring. It is like she is a machine out there. So, I'm predicting Chris and either Phil or LaKisha to be going.
So we both have a definite and 2 likely choices for the other. Put them together and get Chris and Phil..
I have watched that Blake vid like 10 times that and the time of the season are my 2 favorite Blake moments. DD
Thanks for the Blake video. I watched it again, and I still think that is by far the best performance I've ever seen on American Idol. That was a performance that only a superstar could give. I think that that performance alone will put him in the finals.
Chris and Phil are done. No surprise. LaKisha should be next, followed by Jordin. That would set up a hell of a show between Melinda and Blake.
my prediction: LaKisha Blake Jordin with Melinda winning it. maybe switch blake and jordin, can't discount all the little girls voting for the only guy left. though "timberlake" got voted off.

Sorry but Blake butchered a great BJ song. He annoys me.... Sorry for you man crush guys, but I can't stand Blake. His voice sounds weird, he sings out the side of his mouth, and he always has this bug eyed look to him. His beep-boxing thing is a nice talent, but I dont think the dude has the pipes. I heard that Barry Gibb was on so I decided to tune in. Yes, I'm a Bee Gees fans so shoot me. What a horrible piece of crap show that was. Maybe they've been better in other rounds, but to seem them butcher the masterpieces was appalling.
Blake isn't going anywhere this week, not after his killer performance last week.. My bottom two were LaKisha and Melinda

I think Melinda may have sealed it tonight. She has been solid to spectacular the whole time. I don't think she has had a poor performance yet.
I think Blake is going to be gone....he is not as good a singer as Melinda and Jordin....but he is a better entertainer. Melinda can sing but she has the looks and charisma of a toad. Jordin is incredible, she should win...with Blake coming in 2nd..... At least that is how I would see it. DD
