Any clones out there going to the party in Sugarland on Friday?

Who do you think will win this year?

    I'll hang up and listen.

Jim Rome is lame, especially when he's doing interviews (the biggest ass kissing interviewer out there)...out.

Jim Rome is still around? I haven't listened to his radio show in over 10 years.

ok, i don't really find him that bad overall. i enjoy his takes on sports and non-sports stuff, but when he starts playing old bytes over and over, asking weak interview questions, then giving that fake laugh, i just change the station.

i tune in for hour 1, sometimes go a bit further.

when he says "we are loaded, 3 interviews", i start finding something else to do, like actual work.

I caught a bit of it in the car today. He finished some interview and then the clones were ragging on some guy for a rap he did. Very predictable responses.

I listened a couple of days in a row last month. He spent a lot of his time making fun of some chick for the "buzzer sound" she made. I heard the call when it happened. I get into the car the next day and he's talking about it. Two days later I'm in the car while his show was on and he was STILL talking about it. It was very lame. He was being a douche and encouraging the clones to be douches as well. Oh well, I guess it's better than talking about Mama Cass choking on a ham sandwich or Barry Bonds not being able to throw out Sid Bream from "deep short". What year is this again?

I like Jim Rome. But not everyday.

What bugs me...is that since I now listen to the radio 'on-line' the local station that carries Rome on the dial can't do so when streaming.

That manual buzzer is hilarious. I love the constant flashbacks. I wish they would play that one 911 call every day - "911 Emergenceeeee. What's goin' on? Do you want me to come over and shoot her?"

I was one of the few hundred people to actually make it into the first tour stop in Houston. Outside sucks!!! Pretty funny watching John and Lance make fun of Chris O'Donnell and Annie K(?), who were doing a nationally syndicated sports show at the time.

The tour stop at Enron and the dog track (;)) were both well below par.
