Steve is going to LAC to play with CAT. The clips do not have a point with Livingston knee in shambles and Cassell body aching all over. Plus the clips have the money.

I don't like Steve's dribbling machine efforts, which would kill the ball movement we have with Tmac and Rafer. Plus Steve is not as intelligent as Rafer, he makes dumbs passes as well and he doesn't run a team as effectively as Rafer

Steve does shoot and rebound better than Rafer, however, that's what we have the other guys for.

Steve Francis fights. Steve Francis has a bigger heart than anyone in this team.
It had been difficulty for JVG and the Rockests to give up Steve Francis. If there is chance, especially if JVG is still the coach (which is questionable), the Rockets will give Steve Francis a second try.

The Rockets probably would not have lost twice to Jazz, if TMac was replaced by SF. Sometimes the games were won by fundamentals, by talents, while some other times the games were won by your heart. JVG must have missed SF during certain stretches. He would not mind puting SF in to replace TMac for such stretches when TMac just pretended to be on the court.

Baron Davis was SF's b****. SF outplayed him almost every time. If you forgot how good SF was, watch the Warrior's game, Steve Francis was at least as good as Baron Davis, and more durable.

Who are these other guys of which you speak?

With Stevie back . . I can guarantee one SPECTACULAR play per bone head play
Chuckie Hayes would be the New CATOMIC BOMBER!

As for Efficiency . . .which is better
scoring 5 out of 10 times or 6 out of 14 because your guard got extra rebounds and hustle playes

Extra possessions and key Offensive rebounds are helpful

Can we officially start the Bring Back Francis Club? I love Tmac, don't get me wrong, but I would love to see the Stevie Mac Yao Show. It would be awesome!

    Who's with me?!

We'd move T-Mac back to his natural position and that is Small Forward or Alston and Francis can share minutes while T-Mac plays shooting guard. Alternately, you can have T-Mac and Battier share minutes although I don't think it's a good idea for T-Mac to be sitting on the bench. Another possible rotation is Battier rotating with Hayes and Howard at the Power Forward position even though Battier is a Small Forward. Novak/JL/V-Span will again be relegated to limited minutes. But..if ya need to get a really good Power forward, those three guys might make good trade bait.

Oh and Head...unless he lights it up with 3 pointers in this next game or in the series to come. He's going to be trade bait too. We need a POWER FORWARD

he'll play shooting guard when TMax is on the floor. the man's just talented period, he doesn't need any position, he can create his own from anywhere.

If you are a Clipper fan, then you are entitle to your opinion.

For any Rockets fan to say Francis is not going to gretaly upgrade the team is just like saying the team is better without Yao when Yao got injured early this year.

His tendonitis really hurt his career but if he will rehabilitate that knee and beginning of next season will be an awesome accusation if we can add him to our rosters.

I guess ya'll didn't see the way he ended the season in New York. Go check out his game log, and you might be quite surprised. He had like 5 games in a row where he was getting 25 or so points a game.

It appears, he might have been getting healthy.

If any of ya'll think New York is going to buy him out, I say NOPE. You don't get rid of a guy who is a 20 point 5 rebound and 5 assist guy. Not unless you are getting something in compensation.

But, I'd love it if Steve would play for the Rockets. And, if he was playing for the Rockets, he'd be starting. No doubt about it.

My best guess is that he ends up getting bought out by the Knicks and ends up reuiniting with Cat in LA, as the Clips will need a servicable PG next season

I have mixed feelings about getting him back...Rafer is a backup regardless and Steve hustles and rebounds and is athletic BUT he isn't what I would call a guy with a great basketball IQ...

If he is bought out, then he is a freeman. Then why in the world do you think Steve would want to join Clippers?

Make no mistaken, when Steve comes back, he will not be the focal point of the offense, that will be TMac. Steve will play a role like Jerry Stackhouse.

Houston is the last team that Steve enjoyed some level of success. JVG and him familiar with each other. One additional incentive -- if Steve comes back to Rockets, his jersy sale in China will instantly jump to top 5.
