I know Golden State isn't known for their defense, but gawd damn...I think they might have lost the series last night. If Dirk stays hot in game six and the Mavs manage to win, then game seven is just a formality, IMO...

Kiki has never won an NBA championship, so of course he is just going to throw that word around. He probably thinks Nikoloz Tskitishvili has the heart of a champion...

Refs sucked last night...GS should have won but I have a feeling the Mavs will force a game 7 and win...I hope I'm wrong...

I do agree that the refs sucked...but it was both ways. The refs sucking had nothing to do with Dallas winning lastnight.

Lots of ticky tack calls on Dallas too....as well as the fact that GS can grip and complain all night to the officials, but as soon as Dallas says something, it's a T.

Please quit trying to say that the reason Dallas won was the refs.

Dallas won because Dirk Nowitski gutted up in the end......Love seeing Cuban in PAnic mode after spending a fortune on talent for that team.

after reading in another thread about Cuban's dispute with Nellie it would be sweet to see Dallas lose. Sounds like Cuban has serious character issues...

Dallas has much more talent- I wish they would lose, but they likely will not.

I like Avery - and I do not hate Dirk, but that Jason Terry is a punk *ss....

Come on Golden State - over achieve and beat the bad guys!!!!

When the Mavs got lots of LIGHT contact calls at the end of the game and its a close score, you are going to get the complaints.

The no-call OTB on Dirk, the foul on Davis when he was giving ground to Harris, the phantom call on Davis(anticipation call methinks)

I have a feeling that the league will not allow GS to advance, and they will try anything to make that happen. That's just me.

Baron Davis - The ref. gave him a chance to stop his clapping..even warned him...yet he didn't stop. Getting tossed is a given.

Jackson - While lastnight was wrong...the other night wasn't. He lost his cool..and went nuts...hence not even leaving the court. You can't make an arguement for him...he's a hot head ready to explode at any time.

Stackhouse - tossed for what?? He gets a freakin T at halftime for talking back to the official. W

Terry - He got his T...and Baron got his flop. Very good acting by the bearded one.

Just watch the game...GS looks like the Spurs (a mutual hate between Mavs and Rockets fans) out there...they grip at every call. Talking with the officials the whole game. Throwing their arms...not telling what they are saying....yet Dallas...when in the same situation, has been T'd for it.

The other night, the official even told Harris "Get the hell away, I don't want to hear it"...that was quoted by a sideline reporter out of Dallas. Yet, GS can sit there and complain the entire game.

    Here, I'll give you this:

My wife (God forgive her, she knows not what she does, but she's a Spurs fan, and is from San Ancrapio). She can't stand the Mavericks & its always real exciting when the two meet up. But even she has said that so far, GS is getting the benefit of most the calls in the series. Not to mention the technical fouls that have been called. I even caught her yelling at the TV lastnight, saying "T em up ref.....you do that when Dallas talks....treat GS the same".

bad calls go both ways but in crunch time, the calls DEFINITELY went the mavs way.
    1. clean block by barnes on dirk, foul called (this wasn't even questionable)
    2. baron giving way to harris, foul called (ref probably assumed because baron was in the circle, but baron was basically jumping backwards and harris' body just followed)
    3. foul on jrich 3 pointer, no call
    4. phantom foul by baron on howard (though i don't know why they wouldn't want to foul here since there were only 20 seconds left and they had to foul anyway)

those 4 calls happened in the last 3 minutes and they were blatantly wrong. i'm not going to say the mavs were handed the game by the refs, because they weren't, but the warriors have absolutely, in no way, been getting the majority of the calls this series, and especially not the crucial ones.

Come on guys, GS, just blew the game. Dirk was open for two 3's (no he didn't just impose his will on the game, GS stopped playing him like they had been the whole series), Matt Barnes goes up with that weak ass layup attempt and gets blocked, the Warriors melt down because they didn't know how to counter Dallas doubling B-Diddy as soon as he got the ball past half-court.

Look for the counter when Dallas start doubling B-Diddy, if the Warriors are successful, look for Dallas to go back to single coverage and B-Diddy to kill whoever guards him once again.

    1. Lots of contact with the body there...sorry..it was very questionable if you feel that the call shouldn't have been made.

    2. An easy blocking foul to call.

    3. Happens all the time...how many times do you see a players wrist or hand get hit when someone is coming at them and make contact after they release a shot from outside. Happens all the time. J-Rich did the normal..fall backward and hope for the shot.

    4. Daivs goes up and puts his around around Howard...the ref assumes he is fouling to stop the clock. That wasn't hard to see.

The one that I question, was why wasn't a flagrant called when Barnes intentionally fouled Dirk at the end of the game, and he balled up his fist, and wrapped his arms around and fouled Dirk pretty dang hard. It's one thing if the player is trying to get away, but Dirk was just standing there.

    1. Incedental contact (especially if it happened on the other end)

    2. An easier NO-CALL since Davis is giving way and Harris made the shot.

    3. Dirk and Terry have been given free throws for LESS contact.

    4. Anticipation call.(this one I have the least problem with)

    5. Dont forget the no-call on Dirk's over the back that resulted in Dallas getting the ball back after a couple of freethrows...

When the Mavs went on the 15-0 run, the slightest contact was called in their favor.

ok, you don't make sense here.

why should anybody tell a player to stop clapping?
jackson - im speaking of last nights game, not game 2...shouldn't have gotten tossed
stackhouse got a t for talking back to the official...deserved...
terry should have gotten more than a tech

gs has been getting tossed for clapping!
dallas is getting t'd up for arguing!

    which team deserves the t's???
