I was watching the game on ESPN and I heard them mention Luther had them open the gym and shot hundreds of jumpers. I'm so proud of this kid. I'm glad he took the time to do something like this while others would have just sat in their room all depressed and ****. Luther's got the potential if he just keeps practicing. Work on those jumpers, and way to finish the other night on that fast break.
Now back to the prediction, I say Rockets 91, Jazz 85. Tmac with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists. Yao with 30 points, 20 rebounds.

 

yao finally figures out okur's flopping/slapping tendencies from watching video, and delivers a cleaner more inspiring performance.
tmac has 20+pts and 9+ assists, 3+ to hayes
rafer shoots 35% or better for the night
jho hits 50% of his shots
head has 12 or more points

I do not like our chance in game 6. It is going to be very ugly.

If I were the coach, I would want the Rockets spread the floor more and take more 3 point shots. In another word, "gamble" this game. If the shots fall, Jazz will be out of their "system" under the pressure and a lot easier to beat. If they do not fall, well, we have last game back to Houston.

To do this, coach must have the courage and wisdom to admit we are the underdog at their court. The worst thing I can see is that the coach wants the team to go head to head with Utah, try to grind it out and get beat up straight. It not only lowers our chance to win game 6 (both strategies will have less than 50% chance, but the first one has higher chance IMO), it also lowers our chance of game 7 because the dog fight winner will have both metal and phsical advantage going into next game.(even in this case, we still have better than 50% of chance because of the home court. but we want it as high as it can be)

I think they will show up tomorrow and play well and it will be a close game down the stretch. I think Mac goes off tomorrow for 35-40 for the first time this series and that keeps us in it until the end. I'm going to call it a win for us as well...like the Phoenix game...we show up and close this deal out in 6!

 

The fact is....

The Rox ARE the better team. If we play well, we win. If we play 75% or less, we lose.

We are going to have to beat the jazz, the fans, and the zebras. I expect lots of bad calls and no calls.

If the bench shows up and our 3pt shooting is there, we will win.

we are 1 game away from the 2nd round. hopefully the guys come out to play accordingly.
