aahhhh...refreshed..... A CURSE WOULD BE IN LINE...but.... Posted by fromobile on 2001-10-18 23:06:55 I mean, as a Rockets fan, I now hate your slimy team for screwing us in the rear, and under normal circumstances I would curse the Warriors to having a bad season....but you're already going to have a bad season, you're the FREAKING WARRIORS!!! You always suck!!!! I should curse you to winning MORE so you will have worse draft picks for the start of your next pathetic season!! I can not wait for my team to sharpen it's playoff claws on your team's ass this season.
I just checked, you actually went over there and did it...man. needless to say the other members of warriorsworld weren't too pleased with your input.
Thanks for stopping by Froman Since the Warriors matched for Jackson, there really isn't anything warriors/rockets related to talk about until Dec 28th Jan 29th Mar 8th Mar 24th By the way, I heard on the wire that Todd Fuller is available, he could raise your team GPA by at least 1 full point.
As a Warriors fan, gee we have never heard anyone say anything bad about our team. I think I know why you are so upset, does this sum it up correctly?
Attention Warriors! You are condemned. Did you know that? The instant Gary St. Jean took over Mark Jackson and released Chucky Brown, you sentenced yourselves to the lottery. The Armed Forces of the Clutch City BBS are here to seek justice for our loss. Highly trained soldiers are coming to shut down once and for all your poor excuse for a Bay Area Team, and the executives that support them and their actions. The Rockets are armed with state of the art military equipment. What are you using, obsolete and ineffective athletes? Our shooters will rain fire down upon your defenses before you detect them on your radar. Our bombs are so accurate we can drop them right through your windows. Our backcourt is trained for any climate and terrain on earth. Houston Rockets fire with superior marksmanship and are armed with superior weapons. You have only one choice ... Surrender Surrender now and we will give you a second chance. We will let you remain in the Western Conference. If you surrender no harm will come to you. When you decide to surrender, approach CC.net forces with your hands in the air. Sling your four-dollar-San-Francisco latte across your back, lid towards the ground. Remove your magazine and expel any player bios. Doing this is your only chance of survival. Sincerely, Colin Powell ps. no one fights with my baby brother other than me. And Jenna, she can fight with him, that's okay too.
The best reason never to pick fights at other message boards or with trolls: Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level and bury you with experience. I love that quote.
Please stop the madness. Maybe we could have a whole seperate forum just for flame wars between other sites. That would be a good thing, you know like a front line. That way, when we feel like flaming some other teams trolls we can express our own troll nature without hurting innocents.
Bitter maybe. But I think everything will be alright when the Rockets have a good season and the Warriors crash and burn. I'm curious, what does Todd Fuller have to do with Grade Point Averages? Go away troll.
Browsed through the Warriors World website, man that is one sorry BBS! You have to scroll all the way down to look at different topics. But that is not what caught my attention. Two things did, is the spelling of Golden Staters who can't even spell their own players last name! As simple as JACKSON is, he spelled it Jacklson - Wondering if he was really trying to call him a Jackal! Secondly, now in this posting is an article on a remark made by Fortson. Now with that remark that he has made to Jackson do ya'll think that is gonna cause some blood between Fortson and Jackson? Or most of all Jackson and Golden State. And looking at their line-ups Geez at Center they have Erick Dampier and Adonal Foyle and at the Power Forward they have Fortson, Troy Murphy and Corie Blount. So where does Jackson fit in all this? I think the real motivator was the fact that Golden State didnt want to help Houston. And they probably have a deal with another team right now and will be sitting on the table for 90 days and then trade him. Golden State Warriors should be called Golden Girls! Oakland Tribune Thursday, October 18, 2001 Jackson's return expected today Disgruntled Warrior must pass physical first http://www.oaklandtribune-ang.com/S...=503&Indx=1156791&Article=ON&id=9435424&ro=11 By Vittorio Tafur STAFF WRITER OAKLAND -- Marc Jackson won't officially be back with the Warriors until he passes a physical today. Two days after he ripped Golden State for matching Houston's offer sheet and bringing him back, the team probably is hoping Jackson will just say the right thing. Does teammate Danny Fortson have any advice for him? "Yeah," Fortson said. "Stay calm, play hard ... and keep your mouth shut." The Warriors host the Denver Nuggets in their first preseason home game tonight, and Jackson likely will be on hand in street clothes. The 6-10 forward/center might get booed after he said Monday that coming back to Golden State was the "worst-case scenario." Jackson is upset because the Warriors didn't negotiate with him all summer, waiting for another team to set the restricted free agent's market value. When the Rockets lost forward Mo Taylor to a season-ending Achilles' tendon injury, they signed Jackson to a six-year, $24.375 million offer sheet on Oct. 2. The Warriors had until Wednesday to match it or lose Jackson. They matched it despite the fact they're already happy with Erick Dampier and Adonal Foyle at center and Fortson, Troy Murphy and Corie Blount at power forward. "You can't let a guy like that walk away for nothing," guard Bob Sura said. Jackson, who averaged 13.2 points and 7.5 rebounds last season, is close friends with Houston guard Cuttino Mobley and said he wanted to play for the Rockets. He was upset Monday because Golden State "didn't do me any favors." To which Warriors coach Dave Cowens responded: "Why should we help Houston? We're competing against them. Besides, they only made him an offer under duress. They weren't clamoring for him from the outset. He has to understand that." Jackson, 26, is a team player, his teammates say, and will play hard for the Warriors. According to the collective bargaining agreement, the Warriors must wait 90 days if they want to trade Jackson. And they can't trade him to Houston. http://forums.warriorsworld.net/main/msgs/82749.phtml
Not to side with the supposed enemy, but this site certainly doesn't boast any spelling bee champs, either. How 'bout that Eddie Griffen? What's up with Matt Bullerd? Are we gonna trade Walt Willams? Did you see that play by Cutino? Why don't we play Langi? What position would Mark Jackson play? Steevey Frances is de kulest!!
HEHE Gutter, that phrase kind of speaks for itself doesn't it? LOL VesceySux! Don't forget the ever famous Hakeem Olajuwan
What does DoD mean? dude, I'm addicted to www.warriorsworld.com . That guy is great. Go spend some time there. CBrownFanClub pay special attention to the artwork section.
Go away Troll? Seriously, a Troll is someone that is intent on starting ****. So that would be FroBoy coming over to my board and trolling. As for what Todd Fuller has to do with grade point averages. Well the Warriors drafted him during their "we need to get good citizens" phase. The same time period that brought us Foyle, and Andrew DeClerq. We had the worst team in the NBA, but based on College GPA's we had the highest team GPA in the league. Fuller is a legit 4.0 GPA guy, so he is bound to give you 3 points, 3 rebounds, 5 fouls a game, and really help the rockets if you ever need to take any standardized tests.
Thats great that the Warriors had the highest GPA amongst their players. Too bad that the idiots in the front office are running the franchise into the ground. I feel for Warriors fans, I really do.
I am sure you don't care, but the current front office is significantly beter than what we had 4-5 years ago. Gary Fitzsimmons essentially makes the personel decisions and he is no slouch. When the Warriors play the Rockets, watch Richardson, he is going to be a great player in this league. Jamison/Richardson/Fortson Pretty good players to build around.
