this time he's talking about other teams, not utah so it's all good. in fact, he's giving utah A LOT of props -> saying they're VERY good, never expected a sweep, and will be a dogfight in game 6. so as long as he has respect for his opponent he's facing, i'm fine.
i truly think we would be better at this stage if we had a prime mutombo (during his yrs as a defensive player of the yr). he'll chip in 11-13 pts but play crazy defense. he would shut down boozer right now. and basically our offense would be more unpredictable. but this deke wouldn't last half a season. bayless is just a dumbass.
This is the same Skip Bayless that thinks Yao is mostly a 10-15 ft jumpshooter who rarely posts up. Somewhere along the lines of 'both Tmac and Yao are competing for the same types of shots so they limit each other.' Clearly Skip doesn't watch basketball and still relies on the predraft scouting report on Yao as his info.
so wade trashing dirk is karma for him b/c he's out? sometimes we just need to watch the games and see that warriors have an advantage at almost every position.
I too, wish that McGrady would sometimes just watch what he says. I apreciate the honesty, but at times like this I just wish he would give some stock answers. No bulletin board material for anyone.
like they need any? they're tough, hard-working, physical, and play 200% every game in this series. that's just who they are. they have outworked us in every game so far.

so you suggest a deke/howard front court or a deke/hayes front court? How would our offense be more unpredictable? It's just tmac. That lineup might be OK in the regular season, but in the playoff, you need low post.
