3 days and nights at orange beach, alabama - perfect weather, great beach house, tons of cold beverages and great food - my favorite band playing two nights at an awesome outdoor beachside venue friday and saturday night. then off for a one night stop in new orleans to catch a night of jazzfest.... George Porter Jr., Stoltz, Batiste, Henry Butler, Bernie Worrell, Leo Nocentelli, Ivan Nevile, and Skerik at The Howlin Wolf for some kickass n'awlins funk - followed by 4am bloody maries at igors and a soft shell po boy, jambalaya, and bread pudding at mothers the yesterday for lunch. and of course a pitstop in sulphur, la at the boiling point for some crawfish pistolettes and shrimp balls before heading back into houston.
I'm more interested in finding out what they cooked. If dinner cost him $300 per hour for each girl, well then...

NOT TRUE. It is impossible to find fault with a mountain of cheap pizza (unless it gives you horrible diarrhea or something, and if it does, you should start a thread about it because people seem to like poop stories around here).
Gulf Shores/Orange Beach are awesome...and then coming back through NO is always a great finish. That's always been one of the best vacation combos I've enjoyed.
